mag or potassium

1 week from clones. OG Master Kush. They didn't look very good when I got them but I've been getting the same clones from the same guy for a couple of years now. At least 7 grows. They are always well rooted and they always recover well.

I recently switched back to Rockwool from Coco. I still had a few gallons of coco nutes and decided to use them in my flood and drain. I figured the only real difference was extra cal/mag in the coco nutes and I'm using RO water so I figured I could use it without adding cal/mag.

Ph is between 5.5 and 5.9 (when it reaches 5.9, I adjust back to 5.5 which usually happens once or twice per week)

Water temp is 64 to 68 and tent temp is around 77 to 84 F

PPM is right around 680.

I usually hand water 3x a day for the first week, then set the flood for 2x a day, then up it to 3x a day about a month in. Maybe to much nutes on leaf during hand watering?

24 hrs of 1000w light.

CNS17.

I had spider mites on my last grow and just saw them on these clones so I ordered Avid Forbid.

I'll turn of the lights tomorrow to take batter pictures.

pH is to low.....for too long..(lockout/burn)...if you have lowering pH (tells me there maybe other problems somewhere, as going up is more the normal) pH to 6.2 and don't let it get below 5.8.......

6.2 seems high for hydro, no? 5.8 seems reasonable. I'll put it there tonight when I get home.

And maybe I didn't write it out clearly but my ph rises over time. It doesn't drop.

5.5 is great for veg, I've even done 5.2 and let it flux to 6.1 then drop it with good results(needed 2 supplement with Epsom salts for the mag uptake), 5.5 - 6.0 in veg & 5.8-6.2 in flower does me well :)

Rise's, good!

Wow,,,you guys run low....too low for what I ever learned......5.8 - 6.2 Low gets problems faster then high....Ed Rosenthal

I get no problems whatsoever In veg at 5.2-6.0, just optimal growths at 5.5-6.0(what I currently use), then in 12/12 5.8-6.2, although when I done the 5.2 I needed to suppliment with epsom salts

What ever...At any rate, it looks like your ppm's are rather stout for a week from clone plants!

I would agree with my ppm's being on the high side.I usually start around the 500 mark. But this didn't look like burn to me, looks like a deff to me.

Dude, that a great chart. Better than most I've seen. I think it might actually be lock out. I'll try to rinse it out and lower the PPM's.

I turned the lights off to take some new pictures. Looks like 4 or 5 different issues so I'm going to guess either salt build up or over watering (I'm leaning towards over watering because I'm using a different brand of Rockwool and I just moved one abd it poured water out. I hadn't watered in at least 8 hrs)

Notice the curled, contorted leaves; some leaves are blotchy some are yellowing around the edges and some are just dying off. The stems are turning purple. I put the clones in last Wednesday so this has happened in a week.
