lst during flowering?

You can definitely LST during flowering. Just keep it low stress. If you need to make a tight bend do it incrementaly over serveral days.

I agree with what smokehouse said. Put her back to veg, top her and give her a bit more time. If she is a sativa like people have suggested, then you dont want to veg her too long since sativas often triple their size or more.

Your yield is directly related to light intensity. If all the other conditions are on track, then doubling the light wattage will double your yield.
sweet i have her tied in one spot right now im gonna wait till she grows a little more to tie her down more she seems to be doing fine
i added the 13w to see if the temp would go up alot might put a 23w 6500 in cause thats all i have at the moment
but if i want to double my wattage now i would have to figure out how to get cooler air in the box heat is my number one problem

Sounds good dank.

One tip. It sometimes happens that a branch breaks off when doing stuff like LST. If that happens just tape it back in place with electrical tape and it will reattach in less than a week. Sometimes you need to include a toothpick for support. Or you could make the piece into a clone.

Good luck with your grow.

Great advice, make sure that you have your clone gel nearby so that you don't get any air inside of the stem!

hm i didnt even think about that i have no clone gel haha alteast right now
My homie took a cuuting and just put it in a cup of water, no gel, powder, nothing but cuuting and water, and it rooted. I use the gel, but if u don't have it, dosent mean, don't give it a try, MJ is a awesome plant, sure u can get one to root without hormones if ur thumb is green enough!

Any change in the plant or environment means that the plant has to devote time and resources to respond. But in many cases the plant responds with little effort. The MJ plants branches are designed to move and bend as they grow. The sun moves, shit falls on them, other plants push them etc...

The whole idea of LST is to stay within the range of the plant's natural ability to respond.

I suppose it might slow her down a tiny amount. But the benefits in increased yield because of exposure to the light will be substantial

In fact with the famous 'scrog' technique there is a great deal of training and most of it is done during the stretch, early flowering. scrogs produce super yields.

i want to scrog my next grow but i want femanized seeds or a clone cause i dont wanna take my time on a male
i would get it to show and then keep veggin but i herd it messing with the genetics and shit

Some growers keep taking cuttings from the same mother plant for up to 15yrs and report no deteriotion. The plant cant change it's genetics. It's genes are determined the moment a flower is ferlitized.

All the pro growers use clones for their scrogs.

But I think fem seeds are a good choice for the first couple of grows at least.
