Just in case you feel like writing to seedsman about the problem I would suggest you don't bother. I have complained about him supplying wrong gender and wrong strain and have the mails to prove it. You will be reminded that what you are doing is illegal and pointed at his FAQ which states that under no circumstances will refunds or replacements be given.
Auto's do fine under 12/12. It's my understanding that ruderalis flowers under 12/12 just the same as indica and sativa so you wouldn't be doing anything the plant doesn't expect.

Looks like nice marijuana, perhaps not autoflower, maybe the Santa Maria phenos in the fem version were not stable.

I don't know if anyone mentioned this or not because I didn't feel like going all the way through and reading, but I am am pretty sure your plants have to be female or hermaphrodites because feminized seeds lack the genetic potential to be males. They come from plants that were stressed into being hermaphrodites and then they are forced to self polinate. This all may sound useless, but this means that your two remaining unknown plants have a 50% chance of being female as opposed to 33%. The odds are closer to your favor.

P.S. This all assumes your seeds were truely feminized, that I cannot tell you.

I would loook into that autoflower on 12/12 question!!! I have used autos before and am currently flushing one now. Why Im going to tell you that you shouldnt use a 12/12 sched. on an autoflower plant, is that I just had this conversation a few days ago on an auto thread and it was concluded that you should not do this. I use 20/4, many others use 18/6, this is the way to go!!! Good luck to everyone.

Here's 2 pics from my profile. the plant spread out through LST is an auto that was grown 12/12. The 2nd pic is a close up of 1 of the buds from that same plant.

Good luck to everyone.

I've grown quite a few autos in my time as I grow in a pc case, but here's a quote from the Joint Doctor himself:

Grown under a 12 to 24 hour/daylight cycle from start to finish. I recommend 18 hours per day; this can be decreased to 16 after the first month with no loss of yield.
Taken from: http://www.lowryderseeds.info/index.html

So they can be grown under anything from 12 to 24 hour light.

These are my plants the one in the middle is an ATA Tundra, since I'm under 20on 4off I plan on cloning it for outdoors. The four corner ones are supposedly Lowryder#2 (which I bought from a reputable place here in Canada) they came up about feb19th20th20th21st. Two have bunches of tiny leaves above 5th node so say 6th and bud? no hairs or balls yet. one is at 4th node and a set above (5th?)with bud on top and the smallest is above 3rd node with a set(4th?) above and bud? The "Bud" is a tight bunch of leaves coming out and is the starting of bud I thnik, the male didnt show his spunk until 34 days so these may flower in a bit. Also if I change my lights to 18on 6off to get them flowering quicker will it cause problems? I've read lowryder styles do best left at 20-4

I plan on making my own femmed seeds. any suggestions on ways so I get as big a % females as possible? I'd of course like to plant the "many" seeds I hope to get from the four growing now outside in the end of may to mid of june to give me all females.
Any suggestions on ways to make her hermy and get high %females?
I know of one way and I plan to try, is to spray a branch or two with a 50ppm solution of gibberillick acid every 3 days for a total of 4 sprayings. But I don't know what it does to the seeds being females or hermies.

That doesnt mean that its good for them, the point to autoflower is to bud early, stay small descreet and hardy!!! Not on some 12/12 sched !!! If you grow autoflowers and 12/12 them, your defeating the purpose!!! Because when you live ina mobile home and run a 1000w, 12/12 shows up on the elec. bill like asore thumb!!! Alllowing the lights to run for 18-20 hours shows nothing. This is the kind of situation autos are made for. Good luck to everyone!!!

haha, he all, I am having the same prob.

dont do 12 and 12, I am sure you know, but it is fun to give advice. kill yeild.

think about it. we can get as much light as we can onto the flower and it will still flower! That means bigger buds. Light = buds, so go at least 20/4 is what I am thinking.

I am over day 25 and no sex. I switched form N teas to N and P teas for transition in my all orgnanic soil grow.

I also added my hps light. Also as an experiment and a power and money saving issue I went from 24/0 to 20/4 and I think they liked it. Maybe plants after do need some dark, but IDK.

I am seeing like you some tall dwarfs! Love the growth, need the bud. I am hoping for sex soon. As for phenos, 2 tall 2 shorter but all still hoping are fem.

good to see not everybodys flowers at day 20 and I got punk seeds.

Anyone with ideas as to why they are taking so long?

They are under 20on 4off lights. Lights are 3x42w warm(red) cfl's 1x42w daylight cfl, 1x150hps in a 32 x 32in area. They are fed 5-20-5 bloomer at 1/4 strength.
room is cool was about 66f, roots at 62f, until last few days when temps are getting above freezing, now room is about 72f and roots are at 68f
And they are growing better now, I think I see male flowers on one, but its not time to sex yet. I hope to have sexed the two biggest by next weekend.

Calm down dude.
If you read the thread, my post was in reply to a question about what to do with auto plants that didn't flower and asking if it was ok to put them under 12/12. All I said was that it was ok to do that.
If you still disagree then post a link to explain why it's bad so they guy who posted the question gets the answer he's looking for.

Hey man Im not getting worked up at all !!! Im simply giving out information as an autogrower and dissagreeing with the advice you gave, which we all have a right to do on this forum. I do also understand your point of view, if its not flowering put it into 12/12!!! Makes perfect sense, but like I said, that doesnt mean its good for it, but then again it doesnt mean its bad for it!!! No negativity meant by any of this, just a simple dissagreement. Good luck to you on your grow man!!!

I found some information on another site that states that LR2 will stay in a psuedo vegetive state at lower temps increasing the growth but prohibiting the autoflower trait. It also states that it will flower sooner in warmer temperatures but stunt its growth.

My conclusion is that when growing LR2s we should veg in a cooler temp until they reach the height we want and then increase the temps when we are ready to flower. I will be increasing my growroom temps from 73 to 80 degrees for the next week. I will let everyone know my results. My 5 LR2s have just been showing preflowers for about 10 days and now im getting impatient. (Im at about 6 weeks)
