Lowryders not flowering after 32 days!

Hi Guys,

First time poster so please be gentle! I bought some feminized Lowryder #2 seeds from seedsman.co.uk, and have been growing them under CFL for 32 days now.

They have been growing nicely, the bigger 2 being 26cm tall.

However I keep hearing Lowryders start to flower after about 3 weeks, but I don't think I'm seeing any sign of flowering!

Can anyone look at the pics and give me some opinions on whether they are indeed beginning to flower and they're just a bit slow, or even if they are not Lowryders or a different strain.

Obviously if they turn out not to be Lowryders it's straight onto the 12/12 to induce flowering! :)

Thanks!!

Im no expert, but I would let them go at least another week before going into 12/12. That is just my opinion. Very healthy plants by the way, im growing lowryder ak-47 right now!!!

18/6 and watering every other day,

Man i am currently having the EXACT same problem. The seeds i bought were feminised lowryder 2's. They are exactly a month old (yesterday). I am growing six plants total, and four of them have been budding strongly for the past week. However the other two (one of which is my biggest plant) haven't started flowering. They look almost identical to yours. Anyone else know what the heck is going on with these things. I was originally worried that i may have somehow stressed them going into herm (this is my first grow) but i really dont know if this is the case. I believe half of my seeds came from the same company as you, so maybe somehow they mixed up strains. Keep me posted on how your turn out, as it seems like i am just a couple of days behind you.

to get buds you need to switch the cycle to 12/12. That is why there is no buds on your plant yet

Hey man, auto flowering means that the plant will start flower based on age not light cycle. Look it up on google and you can find all sort of info on "autoflowerers". Furthermore, Lowryder 2 are supposed to show the autoflowering trait 100% of the time. With all this being said i think that the next option would still be to turn the lights to 12/12. As i said they are supposed to show the autoflowering trait 100% of the time, but for what ever reason both mine and yours just aren't flowering. Mine keep getting bigger. While turning to twelve twelve may diminish yields somewhat in my other four plants, i think it will still probably be the best option. As for you (the guy with the same problem), i would just switch over to twelve twelve right away since you dont have any other plants. Save on electricity too. If you do decide to go this route let me know how it works out.

its prolly just a non auto pheno.. you can get many diff phenos from a single mother..just my guess.

also I woldnt do 12/12 if you have 4 other plants auto flowering.. the 2 big ones could very well be males or herms.. I wouldnt trash 4 good plants for 2 unknown plants that are prolly shit.

Hey man i appreciate your input. Do you think i should try switching to twelve twelve for like a day or two just to dtermine sex? Or should i just trash the other two. It seems so hard to believe that ordering seeds from reputable suppliers (attitude seed co) you would get two shit plants. Especially from seeds that are supposed to be feminised.

I was not even paying attention to what strain it was. Sorry about that.

Yea i dont really know what to do. The six plants are growing in a single grow box and they are all in a single DWC system, with the roots all entangled and what not. I kinda just want to hack the two down and give the other four a little bit of extra room but i dont neccesarily know how to go about doing it since the roots are all grown together.

I suggest switching to 12/12 and keeping it that way. I'm no expert on autoflowering strains, but I would assume that they will not be able to finish under any more light than 12/12. Flip the lights for a week and see what happens.

I've grown auto's before and I didn't have signs of females until well into four weeks and real growth only in the last two- two and a half weeks. Be patients, the thought of your seeds being wrong isn't very likely. Just think, the longer you don't see sex traits, the better chance that your crop is all girls as the boys will show between a week and a few days earlier. Enjoy the autos, the genetics are great and they are very manageable plants.

honestly, to me bro, they don't look like autoflowering strains!! in my opinion auto's usually don't look that fat and filled out, that plant looks like a full indica...i just did some diesel ryder, a nycd auto crossed with lr2, and mine showed sex by 20 days and were flowering a short time after that..

Lowryder leaves, well on lowlife anyways, the leaves are small and pointy. and that does not even look close to that. If your going to do something, do it soon man, autoflower have a short lifespan, not sure what it is but you might want to look into that, and make a decision soon!!! Just my opinion though, good luck...
