Yes, it'll be fun to compare our grows although you'll have some advantage with those bulbs you've got, I have only 92W in the pc box hehe. Do you know how many litres are the pots you'll finally use ? the one I'm using this time is 3L, I was using 1.5L pots before and I wanted to try something bigger this time.

I believe is must exiting being the first time and all, enjoy the ride buddy ;)

They say that more bulbs can be better though due to coverage and stuff. I am going to put x2 4ft florescent bulbs on both sides of the plant though eventually. Im not exactly sure how many liters the pots are that I have but I know they are 8 inches. I have seen a lot on other threads saying that bigger pots = bigger plants due to it can support more root grow because there is more soil. I will tell you exactly what they are when I transplant those two bad boys into there permanent home.

just stoppin by to see how its goin, hopefully you'll have some sprouts tomorrow
Hey thanks! I do have indeed 2 little sprouts already. My partner contacted me this morning since I had to leave my 2 children "Jenny" & "Vicks". Yes I named my plants lol I think its something that most people do anyways. Jenny was the first one to sprout but my partner told me this morning that Vicks (the only that germinated later) is growing faster than Jenny the original one that sprouted first. I am hoping to get pictures up soon and I am worried that Jenny (the first one to germinate/sprout) is damaged in some way because I dont understand why it would be behide in growth at this point.

Ayer-20110223-00007.jpgAyer-20110223-00005.jpgSo here are a couple pictures from today. As you can see Jenny is starting to show leafs on the left. Vicks in the picture seems to still be working to try and get those leafs out but arent exactly there yet. I am hoping that it shows leafs soon.

Lol I know don't they? I said the same exact thing when I planted them. That beautiful "pudding" produced life though =D. I have 8 more of those so when I get my next batch of seeds I am going to use the rest of them. Germination kit is pretty effect. Now just have to keep those lights on them. I am going to transplant them to their new homes probably this weekend.

Unfortunately no new pictures today ='( I'll probably have some up tomorrow. I am not where my ladies are at the moment that's why. Also they are on a timer right now so I wouldnt want to mess with them during their dark period. I have them set on a 20/4 ratio because attitude seeds claims this is the best time for the AK-47 auto's. I might have a surprise though and have a couple up tonight I'll see what I can do.

I have done a pretty good amount of research as well on these AK-47 autos. What I have gotten from all of this research is that it can produce anywhere from 25g-50g's, it tends to stay very small. Not only that but the best time like I said and confirmed by going onto their website (attitude seeds) that the best ratio for light is 20 hours on 4 hours off. I might switch this up depending on how things look while they are flowering. It only Veg's for about 2-3weeks the rest of the process is all flowering. Which will make it so my FoxFarm soil has enough nutrients for that whole time. I will be able to put my flowering tabs in pretty much right away and I wont have to worry about feeding them any nutrients. I have heard and read reviews on the Nirvana website saying these work amazing with flowering tablets as long as you just use half a tablet due to the fact that they can be sensitive to the flowering tabs. If its really a problem though you can just take the tablet out which is clutch in my opinion because you cant do that with your regular nutrients. I have spent NUMEROUS hours on this site researching and looking at different grows, this is what really got me to take the next "step" to start my own grow. Me being a "young" gun in the game still only being in college still. I would just look on a different couple website's to see what else they say about the plant because I have seen that the descriptions can be very different according to smell and all those other facts.
