Looks like Harry Reid has gone to far this time.

That dog dont hunt either
from my perspective that dog not only hunts, but doesnt shy from the gun, retrieves fallen fowl, and can tree a bear all by it's lonesome.

in short it's a damn fine sporting breed, with an immaculate pedigree and trained to perfection.

Obama made a lot of promises, most of them were very nebulous, and wound up being as empty as his chubby wife's head.

of the few promises he made that had substance and could be verified (unlike Hope and Change) were:

No Lobbyists in the White House. he broke that one before the inauguration. his "shadow government" of pre-administration administration (which is unheard of in all US history) was populated pretty much exclusively with political hacks and lobbyists

No More War On Drugs that oine lasted till he finished taking the oath and then he selected Eric "CockBreath" Holder as attorney generalisimo of his war on cannabis

No More Czars and that one was broken within the first week, before he even got his awesome Nobel Hope and Change Award

No More Secret Prisons and Waterboarding he didnt even consider keeping that promise. apparently it's only torture if republicans are in the whitehouse.

An Immediate end to the War in Iraq but he just kept to bush's timetable

No More Crony Capitalism instead he shuffled the deck chairs and changed a few faces, not even all the faces, just a few. most of the cronies that bush installed kept their positions and patronage.

A Balanced Budget and Return to Sound Fiscal Policy he obviously just sounded those alien words out from the Teleprompter In Chief. if he knew what he was saying he would have choked on a lie that huge

his lies were bald faced, deliberate and openly renounced without a word of contrition, and without remark from the "Legitimate Press" who you seem to fell can do no wrong, because Fox and Rush are evil in league with satan.

Harry reid didn't go far enough with romney,,,,he called him everything but a liar ,,,which i wouldn't have stopped there...i would have called for romney to step aside based on his secrecy about his taxes...we all have to answer to the irs and they should look into it...if he comes out smelling like crap ,,,which he would,,,,no-one should be voting for him...he shouldn't be on the republican ticket and tried according to the laws of the irs for evasion...no american should have any reason to put their money in a foreign bank for unlawful purposes...

He reported the money in a foreign bank on his IRS forms. Hardly a way to hide something...

The IRS has looked at his returns and apparently are fine with them.

Obama has spent millions putting his educational records and other items under court seal so no one can look into them. In addition to that the Obama administration is declaring executive privilege on matters regarding the death of a border patrol agent and the DOJ letting thousands of guns *walk* over the border into the hands of drug cartel members.

You sir are a total partisan hypocrite...

so, why didn't he release that when he released his tax return that you know he modified since he was running for president?

and why do you suppose he's not following precedent and releasing more tax returns? even shrub released 17 years.

i mean, would you invest in a company given only two years of financial info about them?

first it's "tradition", now its "precedent"? how long before the need to release every tax form you ever filed becomes "pretty much mandatory" or "demanded by sacred writ"

romney has chosen to keep his private tax records private, as is his right, based on reasons he does not have to explain to you,, or the "legitimate press" (which i am shocked to discover now includes al sharpton???!!!??)

if i were in his place i would inform the obama administration to choke on a dick. obama wins elections by smearing or disqualifying his opposition, not by being the best candidate. this information was of course concealed by the "legitimate press" during his Hope and Change world tour,, as they were too busy making up lies about sarah palin and painting mccain as an oldster with one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel.

dubya could have released his proctoscopy video if he wanted, does this mean romney has to do the same? since when has the dubya policy on anything become the standard by which the left decides right and wrong? i wouldnt give obama my shoe size. he should have to pay his muck rakers fior every scrap since his past is wrapped in secrecy (except for his "autobiographies" which we now learn are fiction, yay "legitimate press") romney's life is not a secret (unlike BHO's).

even if he does foolishly decide to release the demanded tax information, whats next, details of what he does in temple? the facts about his second secret marriage? whether or not he tithes at an acceptable level? did he miss a sacrament in 1988?

give it a rest

No reasonble person believes that Romney broke any laws ok? The issue is not now nor has it been that Romney is a tax cheat - he isn't. So far as his putting money in over seas accounts, if it is legal (and it is) then what is the problem? I don't have any problem with anyone taking as much advantage as possible of the loopholes and laws of taxation in the U.S.

But what is happening here is telling. Consider this, Romney had a decade or more to plan for what he would say about Bain. He had the same to plan for what he would say about his taxes. Romney knew he wanted to be president and he knew the consequences of his time with Bain and his tax returns for many years and yet he did no preparation. He didn't even put together a scheme to avoid some of the problems he has. Why? He is actually whining about Obama's assaults as though they aren't "fair" even though he has been lying to the public as well about himself and Obama's positions.

I can only think of one reason for his behavior. I can think of only one motivation that would have had him not only ignore his troubled financial past but not come up with a cogent and detailed plan for the country.

Mitt Romney firmly believes that he is entitled to the presidency.

I get that impression from every republican candidate since the 1st Bush (was too young to have an opinion on Reagan at that time other than I liked the way Jimmy Carter talked). It's like the old guard picks whose turn it is and makes it happen. I think they realized they had the wrong Bush (I still think Jeb has way more sense) but the Bush's have serious clout so they rolled with it and made him pick Cheney. 08 was McCain's turn, this time it was Romney's. I really think there was an internal struggle from the right and a lot wanted Perry, they literally begged him to join the race. I think his poor performances in the debates caught them off guard and they defaulted back to Romney.

I noticed during the primaries it was basically Romney vs NottheRomney. Unfortunately for them, the true rockstars of the right (Rubio, Jindal etc) are political babies and weren't ready for the bright lights just yet. So they marched out a loon (Bachmann) a sleaze (Gingrich) a goofball (Perry) a bible thumper (Santorum) and the token black guy (loved him, shame his past caught up with him). Romney soon became the only choice really. The right fears Paul even more than the left.

I'd have voted for Paul, but it seems we pretty much agree about the entitlement aspect. I recall during the debates Romney said something along the lines of "hard work should be rewarded" and.... "because I have more money than you all, I must have worked harder" so I should be rewarded with the nomination.

Not that overt mind you, but that is the gist of what his words were. Again, he believes he is entitled and entitled people are usually very sensitive when it comes to "fairness".

If you were a Paul fan you should look into Gary Johnson a bit more. He's like a modern RP who believes the science of global warming and understands that some people want to do us harm because they are crazy, not because of our foreign policies (although that too). I'm heavily leaning toward voting for him but don't really know enough about him yet. Plenty of time.

I have followed his stance on the drug war but not much else. My primary concern as you may know is any prez hopeful's likely pick for SCOTUS, nothing else is nearly as important. Should Romney win and have the chance to select even one justice will be a total game changer for this country.
