How does a light mover cause hot spots. Wouldn't the fact that the light is moving, help to eliminate them?

not sure if your trying to tool me around or what.
heres some more info. strethed or leggy plants, weak or yellowing plants, uneven lighting.
the first thing you shoul not try to get the op twisted and think a light mover is a subsitute for more lumens from another light.
i was just trying to help the op. if u know of a great way then share. and if im wrong im sorry. but i dont think iam.

they take a bit of setup, there is a cost factor, but also they need to be "load bearing" which is substantially different from just sticking a tent in a room, or whatever... even those spinner style ones take about 500# weight factor so then you're talking about bolts and joists and beams and the like... they also can be mechanically complex which is not something everyone wants in their grow... hell i know some folks who still hand water every plant every day... to each their own...

light movers suck. i know of no skilled growers using them on cannabis.

look into open bulb setup if your trying something new.
