Looking for a good Afghani....recommendations?

I'm looking to add a pure Indica to my garden and I'm pretty sure i want to add an old school style Afghani to the mix. I've been searching the past few days and i've found quite a few options, but i'm not having much luck finding grow journals to help me decide. So far i'm considering:

House of the Great Gardener GG#1
British Columbia Seeds Afghani Dream
KC Brains Afghani special
Homegrown Fantaseeds Afghani
Sensi Maple Leaf Indica

That's just a few, but are the ones i'm considering. I'm also adding Querkle at some point, and hope to find a really purple/grape male to cross with whatever afghani female i eventually wind up with.

Any advice on the Afghani's i have listed, or additional suggestions is appreciated. I don't mind growing out a lot of beans to find a keeper pheno.

love a nice lethal sweet & delicious ghani in my mother stash.

black domina & ortega & allkush (paradise) too !

grew out sheherezade from paradise... was very good.

White label - Afghan kush
White label - Hindu Kush
Sensi - Afghani
Mr Nice - Ortega

Delahaze from Paradise seeds was a really nice active haze.I was soaring for hours on it.zero paranoia .alot like Mango Haze.wish I could have saved a clone or 3.

good and afghani don't belong in the same sentence imo.. i'm so not a fan of the taste.. tastes like it was smuggled out of the desert in a camel's hump imvho..

there's sweet afghani.
but lots of people love that pine tar hash type too.

usually has a hashy spicy component.
but not always.

ive always wanted to run delahaze.

i've only smoked a small bud from a fine farmer friend of mine.. really wasn't into the taste.. kind of had an earthy, almost dirt taste to it.. not my cup of tea really..

i never got that... afghan was earthy musky microbial kinda. sheherezade was sweet up front. but the sweetness is over quick. hashy after that.

World of Seeds Afghan Kush and Jordan of the Islands Afghani are getting a strong look.

Homegrown Fantaseeds Afghani looks pretty good too. Anyone have any experience with their gear?

I'm really looking for a strong narcotic stone with this. Something to knock me out at night. I've always liked that piney/hashy/earthy smell and flavor. And my plan is to eventually try and add in some flavor using a Querkle male, but that's for another day and another search.

L.A. Confidential. Mild earthy smell and flowers quickly. You could probably grow a field and no one would know. Nice potency as well. Thank me later.

why yes fine sir.. pretty sure it was the afghani..

never ran the maple leaf but have smoked a bit of it. the good news is afghan dom. strains are evrywhere...pick a flav......

I actually grew it last winter .It stays short and responds well to lst.pulled around a lb.off 5 in 3 gal pots.vegged under CFL and floros for 6 weeks.Flower for 7-8 wks under a 600 hps and CFL.bud was dannnnk.

Aurora Indica. Solid performer in my book.

Supposedly 90% Afgani and 10% NL.. (afgani x thai)

I'm not sure how they came up with that number. Something to do with backcrossing?..
