Well here are the girls day 40! There is only 3 plants in this tent. Check out the growth. And they are pretty compact. Sativa stretch is there though!! Oh and that one leaf, that is nute burn there. Not recommended for the faint of heart!! That is what I get for testing the nutrient boundaries...Oh well...not a biggie, just three leaves, this one is the worst!!!

Looking good dude! Are you sure that's nute burn? I could be wrong, but it looks more like heat stress to me. Are the burns on the leaves closest to the light?

You know after I read your post, that is very good possibility. Yesterday was the first time I stopped the airflow through the light at a real cool temperature. Think I will move the light up a bit and turn the air back on. I tested with my hand, as I do everyday, and seemed ok, but for sure going to move the light up. Can't hurt right? Maybe a little more stretch, but I got room. Thanks LT!!!

LHF ~ how tall is your tent? Do you have the room for 60" plants? I'll have to super crop mine satvia next time to keep them below the light.

Oh yea, I'm using a tomato cage(fit right over the bucket)and it really helped in training the branches to grow up instead of out. And they're filling out like colas.

Take a look at the leaves on the plant in picture one, check out that real long skinny one by the tent door. I have never seen leaves that narrow and that dark. Anyone else seen one that narrow before? Maybe cause the ones I used to see all the time were ground up...haha!!
yeah i got four of em in soil cum check it out the leaves are a freaky green man and the stink is unreal i can't imagine how bad it;s gonna get when they bud.

Hey stranger!!! Glad to see you around. Yeah mine has black ones from time to time, and I pick them up. But I never use them. I like the Camo ones cause I have lines drawn on the buckets where my water mark is located. Plus, I can see just enough light to see through them without needing to lift the lid. I'll sell you my black ones...;-) Hey, isn't it hot out there?

Well today the high was 9 degrees. So then I thought "Self, I bet it is cold in the grow room!" Sure as shittin it was. 58 degrees inside the grow tent. It probably has been like that for about 4 to 5 hours. The only ok thing about this low temp, is I turned the humidifier off this morning when the lights went off. So at least the humidity is only at 30%, that lack of moisture probably just saved my ass.

I am kinda glad it happened because it dawned on me I should change the filter media covering the 4" intake fan. Glad I did that also, forgot the duct work over the fan needed to be changed. It was 6" duct work covering a 4" fan. Alot of good the filter was doing. No wonder I had that dust on the cords and rack on my tent a week or so ago. Fresh clean outdoor air was going in that fan from the edges and not being filtered or anything. Well that is fixed and I now have the new 4" duct work. I have to wonder if I was stoned when I put that 6" duct on a 4" fan. You know what pisses me off about it, it was because the day I did that I know I was just being lazy. The hardware store is 3 miles away. Just pure reason not to cut corners or be lazy..idiot!!!

***Update** The lights are on and the girls grew some during lights out, so guess it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Everything is up to temp and back to normal!!

Day 44 and all is well. Their growth rate right now is incredible. I can't slow it down. The light is as close as I can get. Here are some pics!! Oh and if you are thinking about growing this strain and want to be stealth about it....Forget it, it grows huge and really really stinks in a concealed environment. It smells alot more than in the grow houses. Obviously because of space, but wow!! My whole house stinks. Glad we don't have company for the holidays!!! Good 'Ole Saint Nick!!

I recently upgraded from a 400W digital to 600W digital ballast, along with a new bulb.

Everything worked fine when I got home, but the next morning the 600W light didn't fire. So I drove back to HTG(4 hrs round trip) and found that the SunMaster bulb was bad. HTG replaced it and gave me an extra 600W bulb as a back-up.

No bullshit, just plain good customer service!
