With Qhadhafi gone the people can start paying for their own education (College has been free for a generation), start paying for their own healthcare ( It was free under Ghadaffi), forget about any kind of welfare and can forget about being one of the few nations in Africa that was at least somewhat stable.

"I love the people, all the people," he proclaimed in a 1986 interview with a French television newscaster published in Jeune Afrique. "I would like the people to vanquish the government, the armies, the police, the parties, and the parliaments," he said in explanation of his notion of direct democracy in which people rule themselves without the mediation of traditional governmental institutions. "I am the prophet of the revolution and not the prophet of Allah," Qadhafi declared in the same interview.

By all accounts, the Qadhafi regime has succeeded to an impressive degree in fulfilling basic human material needs. Libya has also been relatively successful in achieving economic egalitarianism. To Qadhafi, such equality entails abolishing the conventional employer-employee relationship. Wage labor is regarded as a form of slavery. Similarly, to prevent landlord-tenant relationships, no person may own more than one house. Furthermore, because domestic servants are considered "a type of slave," the residents of a house should perform their own household work. To achieve economic justice, the slogans of "partners, not wage-earners" and "those who produce, consume" have been proclaimed and, to a significant degree, established.

Of course everyone in the USA just believes what the media tells them. Qhadhafi is a terrible man who is killing his own citizens by the millions, a eccentric tyrannical overlord who is beset with bouts of blood lust and greed.

Of course.

Gold had nothing to do with it either. Sure.

Yea but Pan am effected me.
Libya, which has maintained the fact that it had nothing to do with Pan Am (Which is supported by the United States government), has already paid $2.7 billion.

This is a sad fucking list. We are a tyrannical empire that imposes it's greed upon innocent people around the world. We are committing genocide against any race that is not American. When will you realize this.

Instances of the United States overthrowing, or attempting to
overthrow, a foreign government since the Second World War.

When a range of years is given, the effort to overthrow was
not necessarily an active operation each year of the period.

Lockerbie had nothing to do with Ghaddafi other than being set up by the CIA, The US bombed an Iranian plane under direction by the CIA as GHW Bush had instructed them to cut all ties to the country through informants, that informant was supposed to be on the said Iranian plane, but years later it was discovered his name was shared by a young girl who was totally innocent. Iran wanted justice and the US agreed to let Iran take 290 American lives in retaliation for their indiscretion. Hence the Lockerbie bombing which incidently had 2 CIA agents onboard who were reported as saying they would blow the truth wide open about the Iranian plane bombing. Ghaddafi and Libya were blamed as they were bitter enemies at the time with Iran. The American governement paid a pawltry $100 000 per Iranian life whereas the Libyan government were forced to pay millions per American life.

If you investigate this you would find that this is the real truth about the Lockerbie bombing. I found this out whilst doing research on my old South African government in the way that Pik Botha, then the Foreign affairs minister of SA had been scheduled to fly onboard flight 103 pan am. At Heathrow airport he was promptly diverted just before it took off onto another flight. No reason to this day was given. Also the step son of the FBI agent in charge of the investigation was supposed to be on the flight, he too got off the flight minutes before it took off, people knew that an event was going to happen and they were ushered away.

Ghaddafi may not be the most innocent person to walk the earth but he pales in comparison to successive US governments and it's agencies for the last 70 years.

Gaddafi seemed so humble, he never promoted himself to General....
To bad he was trying to use a gold standard, we can declare this a victory for fractional reserve banking and fiat currency.
Has everyone seen his body gaurds? he had a bunch of hot chicks as his body gaurds, their like his secret service or his navy seals, I wonder if those bithces are still with him, they might be the ones to make a final stand to save gaddafi and try to stop the overthrow of lybia

Spoken like a complete loon. I swear sometimes I think you are proud of that.
Oil prices have dropped over 30% but gas prices have dropped 10%
sounds pretty profitable.
The fall of Gaddafi will also help to strengthen the dollar because he was trying to use gold, it will also help the euro.
It will give the oil and construction contracts to the U.S. and european companies instead of the chineese and russian ones Gaddafi was working with.
It will also give our banks controll of the money and credit system of their country as well as controll over the government, They will have elections but the winners will do as we wish.

The astonishing wealth of Libyan tyrant Muammar Gaddafi and his family has been laid bare as countries around the world begin freezing billions of dollars worth of their assets.

The U.S. alone has seized $30billion (£18.5bn) of their investments, while Canada has frozen $2.4bn (£1.5bn), Austria, $1.7bn (£1bn) and the UK, $1bn ($600m).
These assets appear to be just the tip of the iceberg, as no one is yet certain exactly what the family owns around the world.

But they include an enormous portfolio of properties in the West End theatre and shopping district of London - worth $455m (£280m) as well

What do you think BP buys if not oil contracts? And what do you think oil contracts deal with if not exports?
