So, I didn't want to spam up the Party Cup Comp thread with too many pics of my girl, but check her out! She doesn't give a shit that she's bound up in that little cup:) Drinking almost 200mL per day! I hope she doesn't crap out on me, but so far there's not really any major signs of issues:) The C99 is still a bit on the hungry side, but she's flowering and coming along:

I'm pretty much out now. My champ turned out to be a male. The organic hempy was not a good idea. Those ones are not doing that great. Only 4 inches tall.

I just experiment too much. Better with cups than larger plants. Now I know to stick with super coco for the cups. I'm going to be running either a few 5 gals or a couple 10 gals in super coco soon too.

Some strange things going on in this tent o_O...pot sizes seem to be inverted wrt plant size.....haha. I put the Dr. Grinspoon back into the flower tent today. I don't think it would be a good idea to veg her for another week because she's growing pretty rapidly now.

The party cup girl has me worried that she will grow into the lights while I'm gone...I might have to bend some branches to ensure that doesn't happen. I haven't decided yet...have another day to think about it still......she sucks down a liter of water in 3 days now. I never expected her to get so big...it's kind of stupid. I'll put up an update on the cup thread tomorrow, but then I'll be gone all week:) a five-day trip:)

Hopefully we see good things in the tent when I return!!

haha, thanks man... C99 won't be giving the cup girl any trouble :) I am nervous about leaving it unsupervised for so long...I just don't want anything crazy to happen to it while I'm gone. I don't think she'll fall over or anything, but I'll be upset if I burn the top because it hits the light.

Haha, I accidentally posted this in the wrong thread. Oops. I'm pretty stoned after not smoking all week.
Anyway, I got super lucky when the cup girl fell, even though it was not lucky that she fell in the first place. She fell right on the top of the Dr. Grinspoon (little plant) but didn't hurt the 'spoon at all. Also, she fell towards my open fan, but not into it, whew!

I just got done resetting the blumats for the C99 and the cup girl. I had a one gallon res for the two of them for the four and a half days I was gone, but they sucked it dry. Actually, I'm pretty sure that the cup girl sucked it dry because I watered the C99 kind of heavily right before I left. I bet the cup girl drank more than two liters of the water. That means she's drinking more than an entire volume of the cup every day!! Pretty awesome, imho.

I shoved a bunch of styrofoam pieces around the cup. Now that shit isn't going anywhere.

She is in a bigger pot, probably 10 inches and the other two are in the 6 inch pots-they don't drip constantly though, but pretty often.....but no excess water out of the bottom of any pots:) Seems like the plants get exactly what they want:)

I use high ppm tap as well. The drippers seem alright as long as everything is dissolved into solution and there are no 'floaties' haha. Seems like sometimes I get a little calcium salt at the end of the dripper tube by the end of the grow, but it doesn't form a big crystal or anything...just like a little chalk dust.

how high of ppm you talking? Im at mid 400s on a .7 conversion factor. Trying to decide if its worth investing in another RO since mine burst this past winter. (palmtoface) been meaning to talk to some of the soil guys about what that does to the soil as well, I know low ppm water would flush at nutes faster than what id probably like, but if its between that and locking things out from my crappy water, Ill take dealing with amending down the road.
