Rope pulls could be a questionable choice with those giant hoods...but the wire wrapped around the duct is a no-no to any electrical inspector.
You guys really need to do some research on new products....geez. Yeah, yeah the extension cord...a travisty I know. It was a needed afterthought, that can be rectified very easily.

I'm a big proponent for things like cement board....for the walls of a grow room...
kinda like having concrete on all 6 sides.
nothing wrong with using equipment for its intended use...and if those rope pulls are rated
for the heat....then why not.
Otherwise....use chain...it does not burn...

New product? those things have been around for some time, and they can slip if you bump into the hood. They're very similiar to venetian blinds

Like I said, been using them roughly 5 years without any issues. Lights raised dialy for watering/feeding, never had a problem. There may be inferior brands, but I only buy quality products.

Yes, true many of us are growing legally, but all my point is, is that your dwelling in not covered under homeowners insurance!
neither are some light fixtures that are not rated from other countries...etc....

and shit gets covered.
Med patients like to live...not burn their house down.
They do things LEGALLY and dont do a half assed job of things.

You can build it to code (as mine is, regardless of your so-called expert, tradesman assessment) to protect my family, and you still won't get insurance coverage today. I don't make the rules dude, but I will not put my house at risk....just cuz Dik's like you say "Fuk the Man". Have a fire start in your kitchen, or a candle, or a fireplace while having your MMAR grow going...coverage DENIED!

I'm not trying to be a dick and I doubt anyone on here is.
If you have a fire regardless of the reason the insurance company is going to try to deny you. That's kind of what they do.
The fact that they have seen your room empty or not they have already prepared your denial letter.
If your room was inspected as safe then you would have a valid argument in court if they denied you.
Everyone should and does make the decisions regarding their rooms and no one is trying to convince anyone of anything.

I don't lower myself to name calling to prove my point. No inspections were done in this room.
It doesn't take a trade to know that either.

The Dik comment was for the gb123 asshole. Sorry didn't mean to paint everyone with his brush...apologies.

But, God I feel like I'm in a vacuum. You can fight, argue, and defend all you want with a total loss, the fact is MMJ is currently not covered by the insurance industry, legal or not!

If you're growing MMJ it's not just fire to worry about. Anything that brings a claims adjuster to your home for ANY claim and they see you're growing MMAR, you will be denied....regardless of what the claim was form. Then, once they find out about your MMAR grow...epect a letter in the mail with your "denial of claim" and also stating that your coverage has been canceled because of said MMAR grow.

Of course I now have some "forced" piece of mind with Lloyds because my room is empty and no cultivation is taking place. Even if something were to happen in the grow room itself, I am covered as long as there was no MMJ cultivation taking place....which is fukd in of itself.

You continue to be a wannabe troll in public, even after I PM'd you. If you got a fucking problem with me take it to PM and stop ruining other peoples threads with your nonsensical 2 sentence posts.

Again, you gotta problem with me...show some fucking respect for the other members here and take your BS to PM!
