Those buds don't look very trichomy. I had similar large ones like that a few years ago and it didn't smoke too good.. :(

semantics isn't something we got into .
I pointed out that you made up a word that doesn't exist and you said let's not get Into semantics.
I didn't . Your use of the English language isn't the greatest .
This didn't have to be a discussion .
You said Smos buds didn't look trichomy .
That isn't a fact . It's your opinion and like assholes we all have them . Only yours stuck out because you made up a stupid ass sounding word . If you're a serious grower I don't think trichomy would be in your vocabulary .
That's my opinion lol
And a couple of facts .

Speaking of trichomy... Ive been meaning to ask you billy, what do you think of the quality of the product grown under that Apache? Cause my r2 grows some really trichomy buds.. Love the quality this thing produces.

Why do you think that is? Do you think the smaller monos are the reason?

Yes I think the light distribution is very even with minimized hot spots. I think that's one of the advantages the mono panels have over cobs. Also the intensity is high, but not overly so. It keeps leaf temperatures down. You can easily see this effect if you have a partially shaded bud under the canopy... They are normally heavily coated with trichomes because leaf temp is low and intensity is moderated by the upper canopy.

You need to take a chill pill mate,
No, English is not my first language, but I'm sure no one has a problem understanding what I've written?
Next thing you know, you'll be blasting people for saying nutes, trichs, colas, nugs, blurple???.
yeah im pretty sure trichomy is a new word here and its perfect for describing smo's fat nugs lol.like goofy81 said its as much a word as blurple or nugs.like here ill use it in a sentence so you can better understand billybadass :) smo's buds are not very trichomy but those fluffy nugs sure are big,and those blurple lights he used are to blame.well that and the bad advice he got here in the weed grammar section at riu lmao.

im done watchin a few of you push your opinions on others but cant take any kind of critisizm.those buds are A -very big B-very burnt up and C-not very trichomy...AT ALL LOL. @Big smo needs grow help and better strains as well as more control over his environment.but go ahead and keep at the grammar bs guys.we can see the light is working, now to get some better plants under it.

You're right man , I haven't gotten laid in over a week and I'm a little cranky . I apologize for being so harsh over something so trivial .

The resin production is pretty amazing when compared to other lights .
When I compared results Apache has won every time .
As you know I made a questionable investment into some Kind Leds lol
I also use 1000 watt hps/Mh set up along with t5 and Apache kills it and is close to if not better than the 1000 watt hps\ mh setup.
the plants I've grown under it have paid for the light a couple times over and there's still a lot of life left in my at600.

Honestly it's not the grammar that set me off it was knocking Smos buds that irritated me honestly .
He and I are both new growers and started around the same time . We both have a long way to go but we aren't doing bad at all in our efforts .
IN MY opinion the guys buds are pretty massive and it isn't common I've seen them that big .
Secondly I looked that the pics and the guy sucks as a photographer of buds but there are trichomes on it . I don't know the definition of trichomy but apparently it doesn't mean no trichomes.

And anyone that follows mr smo wild see that the guy puts forth a lot of effort in his grow and environment .
And to sixtrin just like the other guy no one really asked either of your opinions about shit from what I could see . I'm not billy badass either . I'm just billygreen and if ya don't like me I don't give a shit. ;) have a nice day my 2 cent'-ers
My change drawer is full

yeah well seeing how he posted those pics over multiple threads and has been so high on amare i figure i would let the "noobs" know thats not what you look for in good weed lol.size /yields are great n all but you always want quality first unless your just a cash cropper. im sure he learned alot on that grow, and he will learn alot more as those buds dry and he has to smoke the stuff.
i thought billybadass was a decent nickname lol.my bad billy bro,go get laid and ill keep werkin my trichomy tactics haha

It's the strain. Not very tricomy. I admit they aren't the best looking but it's also not going to the cannabis cup either. The guys who smoke this shit love it and in the end it's all that matters. With a flash and a closer shot you can see they aren't bareimage.jpeg

Compared to the Girl Scout autos next to them they don't have the coating I'm used to. But it's still good smoke.

This place is filled with arrogance, always with the dick measuring. Thanks for the kind words Billy. This guy has been following me around showing pictures of dirty scissors and the world smallest .0125 oz plants. People say Amare doesn't cut it, then you show 1/2 lb autos and then it's on to tricomy. So I came to terms you can never win in this place.

I don't have "patients" that require the best. Where I'm from a lot grow and the way to make money is ditch the 300-400 an oz shit and sell it at going rate which is fairly low. If it was for me I would probably go with richer strains, for sale and profit that's got enough stick to sell.

I replied quickly not thinking of the correct term, which should have been "not frosty".
If you read my post carefully, i said it in a way not to offend.
My first 4-5 crops (since i started 7+ years ago) was aimed at the most massive sized colas possible. These never turned out how i wanted, breaking apart the large colas just looked like cauliflower.
I found that after a few more grows a lot of pine cone size buds seemed to give me better yield and quality (a lot of topping, i never let 1 branch get too big). Take my advice with a grain of salt as everyone's methods, strains are different.
