Leaves are curling up and turning brown all over my plant! Please help!

I am a first time grower and im using 2 100w equivalent cfls and 4 75w equivalent cfls on my plant. It is in a 3 gallon pot with good drainage. I have been using miracle grow bloom booster because i really dont have access to better fertz. I have been using the reccommended dosages on the box and i didnt realize i needed to dilute it. Im not sure what the problem is because i am pretty inexperienced with growing. I first noticed the problem yesterday when the leaves looked like they had dark green spots all over them and they were drooping badly. Then today i notices that many of the leaves have started curling up and turning brown and crispy mainly around the colas. Ive read that it could be a MG deficiency so i added a teaspoon of epsom salt in the last watering. also i was wondering if it would be ok to water it with nutes even though i just watered yesterday with epsom salt?

Flush your pots ASAP, MG is some potent shit and when using ANY nutrient you should always start lite

This is my first grow and im pretty inexperienced. Ive gotten my plant all the way up to 3 weeks into flowering with no problems. I will post some pics.

Yeah, you got a couple things going on there. First, flush the shit out of those pots with at least 30 gal of straight water. Cut that MG down to about 1/4 strength and feed that afterward. But dont feed anything for a while. when you do start feeding again, start adding a tbsp/gal of cal/mag (I use botanicare's organic formula). You're right at the point where I was my first few grows where I started having problems in the first couple weeks of flower. You might up the P also. Good luck.

That looks for all the world to be a cal/mag def. The poor dears look just like my first few grows!!!

BTW, contrary to popular opinion, you can get great buds from Miracle Gro. It's just not user friendly. You gotta use it at about 1/4 strength. Once you learn what you're doing, you might want to go organic. but hang in there. It's all about the learning!!

Ladies and Gents.... That would be a SEVERE case of NUTRIENT BURN. And that's why people don't like using MG also. I feel for ya bro all you can really do is flush and hope for the best. It would be a good investment to get some other food too.

I would just toss the miracle grow and go get some organic fert, I use Botanicare as well and it is a great product. If watering with tap water be sure to check ppm levels so not to add to much cal/mag, if using RO you have to use a cal/mag supplement every water... Good Luck!

I am saving your pics so I can show people in the future. Don't take this the wrong way but that is one of those most perfect cases of nutrient burn I have ever seen.

What Max said!!! If you can get hold of some cal/mag, use that right away when you water (or the last flush) If not, go down to CVS and get some epsom salts. Again, 1 tbsp per gal and water that in.that

?OOPS!! Sorry Max, didn't read yer post. Not disagreeing you no offense, but why do you say that? He most definitely has burn going on, but I didn't get rid of that same problem until I started with some cal/mag. Maybe that was overkill?

I would flush, you can def get it growing again but she probably wont produce as much and be more prone to pests and diseases. But you should be able to finish her out

I nursed mine thru 'til harvest. It got a whole LOT worse (before I figured out what it was) my first go round. Only one really wretched burnt to all hell girl made it thru, but the 3.5 oz I got were superb, even if it did taste like crap. Your first harvest will be the best smoke you ever had, no matter what

It seems as though if people don't know the problem they blame it on nute burn. I had some issues with my latest grow and posted on here looking for help, and everyone said nute burn nute burn nute burn... ended up being a magnesium def. I switched to pure RO water and used a cal/mag supplement and it cured all... looked very similar to this guys problem. Not trying to piss anyone off but I think it takes using way way too much nutes to cause nute burn which i think most people who can successfully grow know when too much is too much.

That was my experience as well. Since Mg and C are interdependent, i recommended cal/mag, but at the very least a bit of epsom should help. However, it don't take all that much MG to fry. I found this out the hard way too. That's what gives MG the rap it has
