Leaf vs Bud Ratio for Budder

Hi All,

I like to know how much medication I am getting when I do edibles.. I make coconut oil (budder).. Normally I think to myself, "Well, if smoked a quarter teasoon of ground bud, I would be well medicated" So in the past I have used 1 tsp of bud for every teaspoon of oil. Then I dose with 1/4 teaspoon. This has proven to be relatively accurate.

Now I have 1/4 oz or more of dried sugar leaf. My leaves were pretty frosty.. How much leaf should I use? From what I have read leaf is about half as intoxicating as flowers...

So just use twice as much leaf as I would flower????
Is this sort of accurate?

Get a cheap digi scale if you don't have one and I would honestly do 1g oil to .25g flower/trim… I make butter usually… 1 lb at a time and I go 2oz bud to 1 lb butter but usually its a mix of bud and trim… if its more trim than bud I tend to go 60+ grams but honestly 2oz of trim to 1 lb would probably be good enough but who is ever satisfied with good enough.

If you weigh everything you can go about it scientifically… if .25g to 1g oil doesn't get you off… you up the dose next time..
