Just use cree lightbulbs then? Cheaper and you know what you are getting!
Tbh, this is not a cheap startup hobby, and lighting is one of the most important aspects.
Buy quality or save up to buy quality. Its basically the price of an ounce difference between them I mean come on, you can make that up with one harvest when you DO get a better yield.:blsmoke::bigjoint::hug::peace:

Hmmmm sounds like someone needs to pump the brakes and realize those that live in glass houses should not throw stones. Funny when people accuse others of everything they themselves are guilty of. Oh the bliss of ignorance and oblivion. LOL

"lol" your thinking has a stench like it fell out of your ass. same as the rest of your posts. bro you are as simple a jack ass as ur circle jerk clown buds.
Well guess you've just solidified in my mind you're not very intelligent if that's your response. Lol Oh and just FYI. Your thinking .... or guess I should more correctly say your post, since you can't really assess someones thinking through one post, has a horrible rancid stretch of worthless troll. Have a blessed day.

I just ordered one of the Advanced Platinum series DS200 from Amazon. 300w for $369.

I tried to stay away from the cheapest lights in the shopping list. So much opinion out there on different things. I could have got a 500w Apollo with 5w LEDs for about the same price, but it didn't seem like it was the same thing. I am a firm believer in you don't get something for nothing.

I grow in a 3' x 4' x 7' closet. I don't have room for 1000w hps, or the ability to dissipate the heat from HPS as my room is outdoors and it is well over 100* in the room with the light on. I also do not have the power to run an a/c unit there without blowing breakers all the time.

Going to try a Hempy perpetual grow. 6 to 8 plants every 3 weeks in the grow box. Will post pictures as I start in a log.

Anyone have feedback on that LED light though?

Ive read . only positive reports about platinum. over on 420 there are a couple sponsored grows that are going well. These is also lots of detail about the platinum par measurements.
