Land of Midis... what is the history??

Im from Va, and I run across a ton of "midis"... various names... from "Az" or "Zona"... down in the Va Beach area I ran into some stuff called "Lobster".. all having the same traits... bright green, dry, dense buds... dusty when broke up... seedy... Looks like a poorly cared for Train Wreck, but more skunky...

My question is: Is this a strain? Or is it a good strain that was poorly loved.. like.. for mass production... And if so, can I take better care of the seeds and bring the true beauty out of her??

and its a good question, Green. midi's when grown sensimilla will be dank. there is a lot of good genetics in seeded bags, its just grown commercially. if you find some bag you really like.......
grow it. trust me.

Ok I see.. I was just having fun before.

The quality of mids you see is mostly representative of how it was handled. It surely didn't grow smushed, compacted, hard, dry, and brittle. It grew just as any other weed plant would. But from wherever it was grown (most likely south of the border), it would then be vacuum packed in large bales or bricks to be transported across the border. That could be by small boat leaving some of leaving it wet and/or moldy, by car exposing it to extreme temperatures leaving it dry and brittle, or by whatever other way they decide to bring it here. And once it gets here, it is going to go threw many hands before you find it in your posession.

Some people grow mids from seeds, and the buds will look entirely different in a very positive way. I've seen some home grown mids that had decent trich coverage, because it was coming straight from the grower and not like 20+ people.
