Kickin back into 24/0 to grow more bud?

Theoretically speaking, if a person was in week 10 of flowering on 12/12, if they were to revert their lights to 24/0, would it result in an increase in fruit production, or are we talking about causing more problems than the gain is worth? General thought process says that more light time = increased growth, and there isn't enough time for herms to produce or even matter for that aspect... Am I just high or has someone else done this?

complete opposite actually. The shorting of the day light hours is telling the plant that its annual cycle is coming to an end. So therefore the plant wants to finish up thus ripening.. + if u induce 24/0 your just going to tell your plant O its summer again lets grow more leaves. and your budding hormones will get all fucked up. In other words just dont do it. If that was the case i think every grower would do that. But its proven that 12/12 works best

wont work bro... you can try to re veg the plants after harvest if you dont cut too much off.. but even thats a waste of time IMO..

You run into problems with regeneration. Namely hermaphroditism from stressing the plant. You can only harvest 2/3 of the plant leaving a third on the plant.
IMO- only harvest the mature flower clusters, leave the rest on the plant 12/12 flowering until those flower cluster mature. They will also increase in size some what. Why harvest the whole plant when say only 1/2 the flower clusters are mature enough to harvest.
