Ok man here are some pic and brief insight into my 5x5 flower tent. I run 4” intake and exhaust both the same make and model to match cfm. Fresh air in from the next room and hot air exhausted outside through the basement window that I removed and built exhaust ports. You bring it fresh air in to the bottom of the tent and exhaust from the top of the tent. I made my intake hose long and as soon as it enters the tent I perforated the line so small amounts of fresh air are dispersed along the way to the main. Both intake and exhaust are carbon filtered with prefilters. I have two 6 inch oscillating fans on 24/7 as well and the 4” fans. Everything on high. I hope that helps your set up a bit. Cheers
Thanks! Thats a nice ass set up . . . I wish i had enough space to do all that fresh window air in /exhaust out to separate room. But my tent is tucked away in the corner of my bedroom. Im in a 2bd 1bath rental atm. I was looking at 6in fans. . . But you're runnin 4s in a 5x5 so i would assume they would be fine for my 4x4 . Any suggestions on fans. Something quiet and small but will do a good job?

So u have a 4in exhaust fan n a 4in intake fan right? Do the fans have switches to choose if it sucks hot air out or blilows cool fresh air in?
Yes and the fans both suck air. One into the tent and one out of the tent and they are both variable speed so I can adjust the amount of air flow but mine are always on high

Its my 2nd time growing. 1 time had to chop early. Hopefully this one gets all the tine they need. Just some random pics. . . I know it aint much to look at for most but i find myself staring at them quite frequently lol. . .The 3 bigger girls were dropped in pots on 11/27. The smaller ones like 9 or 10 days later. Im using kind soil and coco loco in the 3 bigger girls and kind soil and roots organic in 2 of the smaller girls and the smallest 1 is in all roots organic soil.(this will be the only one in intend to feed nutes whennever its ready, so any suggestions on what nutes to use would be very much appreciated.) Im usin 1 bestva 1500(280 from wall) led grow light. . . My girl buying me another for xmas. 2 of them should give me like 35w per square foot. In a 4x4 tent.
for dry amendments I use Dr.Earth 4-4-4 for growing during vedge, when I flip to flower I use Dr.Earth 3-9-4 Flower Girl during flower, and you can get Dr.Earth products at any Home Depot,iv been using them for many cycles and all with great success, good luck with your grow.i also do my thing in a 4x4.

Infinity cloud-line fans are awesome from what I’ve read. They are supposed to be really quiet and they come with a model that you can set temp and humidity and the fans will come on and off to regulate your settings.

Nice . But for 240.00/300.00(for 2 fans)im curious to know if there is something else i could use with 2 cheaper fans that would allow me to set temp/humidity settings for fans to come on and off when needed??

I'm not sure of an easy way to do this. I have an advanced method that uses an rpi and a temp/humidity setting used to control a IOT relay which could do what you want to do, but the setup kinda requires some experience installing linux and running the script.
Aside from this I believe TItan Controls makes most of the Co2/temp/humidity controllers and they are quite expensive.
That's pretty awesome if the blower itself has a setting to set that with.
I use a hurricane blower they are cheap but pretty noisy.
I think you would only need 1 probably.

My two 4” fans were a bit cheaper quality then infinity but still were 200.00+ each fan set up. So 400 bucks but you can’t flower without. Veg Tent I get away with only an exhaust fan and just open all the lower screens to allow air to be drawn in

No they just have a variable speed controller. Nothing fancy. Bought off amazon, I will dig up the item and post it. It came with the vent line and timer and some other shit too. So yes the infinity fans are more expensive cause they are about 180 each with the environment control and that’s all you get. No hose no nothing. If I was going to buy another set I would invest in those just because of the extra features. You wouldn’t regret it and really. It’s maybe 30-40 bucks more for each fan. Really not a big deal for a grow tent. The better equipment the better the environment.

Here’s the fans I run. They did come with a carbon filter and that’s a nice perk. Also if your going to purchase fans go for 6” not 4”. I will upgrade to 6” infinity fans once I get a vented hood for my light. Most of those hoods are 6” and up.

So it was hella hot in the tent today when i got home. I keep my thermostat a 70 yr round in the house. It was pretty nice today at around 54 degrees. . . But the temp in the tent said 84. . . .so i just used what i had lying around for time being. Ventech 6in fan with soeed controller. . . Tent walls are sucked in a bit and i could tell an immediate difference after only a few mins.
