Just the one NZ girl...

My hopes and dreams have been a bit dented since discovering the Hermaphrodite properties of this plant, but its a bit like having a handicapped child, you still love them dearly
So I'll have to put up with a few thousand seeds, so what!? check out these budz!

I got a medium sized CO2 candle, I'm just lighting it 30 mins before putting the plant inside for the night and extinguishing it before putting plant in the room (otherwise the light might fk her). I have no idea what the CO2 level is in the room but its got to be better than without the candle so that is one more thing that is going to help beef up the budz. No PH meter yet, shouldve just bought the test kit... doh.

Two more weeks to harvest ...

Thanks man :)

Can anyone tell me if I should pluck off all the pollen sacks now before they develop even more, or is it best just to leave them?

wont those sacs give off pollen and cause the other plants to grow seeds...
In a multi-plant environment yes I know that would be the case but remember I only have this one girl-boy plant so its not really an issue, unless it makes the budz even seedier which is what I feared and that dude bwinn27 confirmed. I just hope it doesn't hurt her...

Man its a big job, will only be able to do about 20 at a time, there must be a few hundred to do so I'll aim for about 50 a day.

Is this safe to do??? I'm not going to hurt her doing this am I?

Also I want to know if or when I should stop watering her before harvesting... anyone have any advice there please?

Wanaka is sick bro, I lived there for four months in a campervan during winter 2004 and slashed up Treble Cone, becoming a fully on Conehead in the process. Wanaka is a wicked place to live, you will love it for sure, specially if you are a snowboarder conehead! Go hard bra!

Today was a good day to chop down a branch so I have a nice supply before the real KRONIC is ready. Heres a pic of the branch I chopped and a closeup of the trics on it.

Flushed today with heaps of tap water, then found out the PH level is 8.0 coming out of the treatment plant, quite high really, that's what they make it to be safe for consumption, so tomorrow I better get a test kit and some PH downers because I have a few more flushes to do before harvest and apparently PH is quite important.

mmmm looks yummy. yeah 8.0 is pretty high for soil plants. they like soil pH to be around 6.5

So what would you expect if the PH is too high, is it just the fact that it is not 'optimal' and therefore will stunt growth a fraction, inhibit uptake of nutrients slightly, etc?

I left my CO2 candle burning all night last night, hiding the flame behind a screen and placing the candle in a metal rubbish bin for fire safety. Everything looked nice and juicy this morning so it must work pretty good with no detrimental effects (not too much CO2). I think I'll leave it on every night now. Its 115 hour capacity so should last a while.

yeah its just not optimal for cannibis.
I highly doubt you can hurt your plant with that little CO2 candle

Duece.

Here's some photos from the day before yesterday, only a few more days to go, she's in week 12 now (clone).

The stuff I harvested last week is strong, still a bit green though to fully enjoy.
