if only you could smell the sweetness thru the screen... it is a lovely musky-fruity tangy smell, getting stronger by the day.

what powerful sunshine we have had lately, I'm using a ten trillion watt sun powered lighting system, it works wonders!

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

a couple new pics for you...

As you will see I have added a survival blanket to the grow area which reflects alot of light onto the lower branches, this seems to be helping out quite a bit and makes the whole plant kinda glow which is pretty cool.

I'm sticking to 3 litres of tap water mixed with approx 10 grams of Potassium Sulphate every 2 days. I leave the top soil dry for a day before watering, the leaves limp a bit but pop back up within hours of watering.

looking good nice crystals forming how long have they been flowering?
wahoo a reply! ;p

Flowering for approx 5 weeks now (since Feb 5)

I never new about Trichomes until I read through these forums and found some awesome photos. Now I'm just going to wait until it has 50% Amber 50% clear trichomes and then harvest.

Will cure for 2 weeks air drying.

I'm thinking of leaving all the branches intact and just trimming off all the leaves, then hanging it upside down to dry, so its one big plant drying up. Would that be alright you think or does it really need to be detached from the main stem before drying?

Not all good news today, firstly what the hell are these suspicious looking sacks? Covered in trichs, a few hairs coming out, is this a normal girl plant or is this the forming of seeds...??? maybe I have stressed her too much from all the moving around.... Hope not...:?

Then I have a very thorough look at each and every bud and any dark or different colours were investigated and I pulled out 5 of these little suckers who thought they were allowed to munch on the delicious budsicles before anyone else!

Why did this post by Smokiethebandit not show up??? I copied this from my email notification.

"heya your plants looking pritty good.
your potency and crystal will come, just be patient with her. Also when watering with tap water it would probibly be a good idea to check your ph.(Get test kits and ph up or down from "switched on gardner" $10 for a test kit fast and easy. Ive learnt ph is the main base key you want to get rite.)
Im in Aucks by the way.
Ive got a couple of fems in the greenhouse, in pritty good shape.
Weve have had a awsome year for it in NZ.
I cant wait till late april may when the days get alot shorter, Everything will fatten up.(im praying anyway)lol
Keep us updated on its progress.

f*ck me shes gone hermie

the calyx's are swollen and I'm going to get some seeds in my sticky budz, thats a bit stink eh.

Thanks for the good advice about the PH testing SmokieTheBandit, I'll surely pick up a meter while I'm picking up some CO2 candles. I keep it in a shed at night so I can lock it up safe & sound, and its much warmer too.

Have pulled out about 7 caterpillers from the budz in the last couple of days but haven't seen any after 2 full searches today so hopefully they are all gone, those suckers get right in the middle and suck the goodness right out of the budz.

Man she's already pretty sticky, another couple of weeks and she'll be pretty hefty and sticky which is going to be good... :)

No point posting new pics every 2 days now because the growth is alot slower and less noticeable.

Do you think its possible its root bound already?

yeah it really blows, but i'm not killing her, its my only plant so I will just smoke it anyway. A friend told me to get a parakeet bird and give him the seeded buds and he'll pick all the seeds out for you and hand it back!

haha

She's been flowering for 4 weeks now mate, the last couple have been quite slow, I think I over did the Potassium just a little bit which caused a bit of darkening (killing) of some of the pistils and brown dry-spotted leaves, but at least I know she got enough to promote good bud growth. Its a bit rough having to wait these last couple of weeks especially when you can't notice as much growth everyday like at the start, but I'll get there! Cheers man.
