If only I had a boy that would buy me these kinds of flowers once a month... wait, in a couple months I won't need any boys for that at all!!! Hehehe! I am so happy with myself and with all of the work I have put into this grow, it's been 5 years since I've tried and I had all of this equipment chilling in my basement, just bought a new 1000 watt hps bulb because it looks like my 400 is brighter than my 1000, and it's been years since i've used this stuff too. Maybe that will increase my yield, not sure, it was only 30 bucks. Here are some pics of my surviving clones and my next gen girls, these girls are going to get REALLY big, because I have to veg them out for as long as it takes my other girls to flower and harvest... so i'll probably have to finish in 5gal bags instead of 3gal bags like the girls in the previous post. Boy, are they going to be freakin gigantic by the time they are done! I have another t5 light coming in the mail tomorrow to put in this veg room because they are getting too big. I know it isn't going to be enough, but with summer right around the corner, I can't afford getting lights that produce a lot of heat, and I can literally hold my painted fingernails up to the light bulbs and they don't get hot at all, if any lower nodes are dieing because of lack of light, i'll just chop them off.

Pretty excited about all of this, thanks for the replies you guys!

Those look really good and green! What lights are you using? I would try out dank den hun, but I think one forum is all I would ever use really. I don't get on very often, just when I want some advice and to show some pics of how my other girls are doing. How come you don't train them down more? Idk, I'm still really new at this, but I like to widen them out and lst them to get more coverage to the lower canopy as they are growing, but alas, we all do things differently! Plus girls and boys are way different too!!! lol!

Also, you did a double post.

i'm using 2 400 watt hps right now,the den is all about pics and lot of good growers and breeders,i think if you tried it you would be on it more than you think ,those girls were 4ft around and would be 9 ft if i didn't tie them down very sativa dominant ,had a bug problem had to defoilate and have been cramped for space those girls gone wild i'm telling you .i had 4 of the big ones ,chopped 1 for having balls and had 5 bubblious in there to .those are the ones that didn't make it. the big male was 5 ft around and 5 ft tall when i chopped it ,these other 3 stand 5 ft tall now ,had to tuck every thing into the roof a few days ago ,they are 3 weeks into flower and still stretching ,wild right .i took a clone and have it going in a 2x4x60in tent ,going to get some silver and make seeds from her .
these plants have taken every one of my mistakes and have forgave me ,they are damned near bullet proof ,if we ever get legal these babies will be grown outside and probaly stand 10 ft tall at the least ,i want some seeds from her.
i am really impressed with your garden ,have you thought about splitting the room in half /veg/flower room, you might have to you no.my next run is going to be the bubbliouse, probaly 10 hope for half females. they are medium size indica and i will do training on them, fixing to convert another walk in closet for veg and it,s on don't want to get caught with my pants down again.anyway nice talking with you girl beautiful girls you have there yeild should be ,keep me updated

Got home from work just in time to turn the HPS lights off so I could take some full garden pics. I can't remember off of the top of my head, lights are out and my journal is in the room so I'll have to check to see how far along they are tomorrow. I have 5 different strains, and i'm sure I will need to harvest them all at different times. The multiple strains that I have, I am going to harvest one plant when mostly amber, and the other when mostly cloudy trichomes.

You can tell which ones are special kush because they are the most sativa dominant strain that I have, and if you have ever grown white widow before, you can pick those out pretty easy. The others that I have are purple kush, og kush, and special queen.

I have this sweet microscope that clips onto my phone so I can take pictures of the trichomes as they start to mature.

Anyone have an idea on when I should start to flush? And the processes that go into it? I really, really want this bud to be the most epic bud ever, and i've been doing everything as perfect as I can so far. I heard it should take at least a week or two to dry, and at least a month of curing. Any tips you could give this girl would be much appreciated, thanks gents!!!:P

Why aren't clones a good idea in your opinion? It'll end up with exactly the same genetics as the previous generation. I haven't been doing this for very long, and this is my first grow in about 5 years. First time ever with successful clones too. I also keep a grow journal.
