Just some questions!

I am 2-3 weeks into flower, maybe 4. And I'm having a lot of yellowing I think, too much. And was told vitamin B12 is almost like a cure all, have any of you used it on your plants?

Also, the same guy told me in his grows he puts a single male(wrapped in layers of cheese cloth) in his room, says it makes tthe girls 'horny' so to speak. They can sense him but can't get his pollen so the throw more resin in hopes that will catch some pollen, almost like she will hermie if you let it go past harvest in an attempt to self pollenate,

Have any of you tried either of these things while growing? And how did it work?

...1. B12 is not a 'cure all'.
...2. Do not put males into your garden unless you want seeds...how would the male get light under the cheese cloth anyhow? :wall:

...3. I can't believe I just replied again to this thread!

no need to be a dick guys. he didn't know where to post and was asking a question. not everyone is as experienced. at one point we ALL were newbs asking questions that seems stupid to us now. Bleez, the answers are in trichromes post. you don't want to look for a quick fix to your yellowing. you want to find what is causing the problem. change 1 thing every few days and see how the plant reacts. what is your grow medium? soil or hydro. if soil then what kind? could be a ton of different things. if you can post pics then we can usually help a lot better. good luck bud.

Plants don't get horny. I've grown a male right next to a female in order to get seeds for the next year. My plant didn't grow any differently than it would have without the male there.

Yellowing might have to do with low N bloom food. Lots of people say that it's natural. I disagree. Chlorophyll is something like 90% more effective at absorbing light than all the other phylls put together and chlorophyll is only present in green leaves. Keeping your plant nice and healthy through harvest has always worked for me. I don't really see a need to "fix something that ain't broke" by buying expensive nutes and what not.

Bio 101, helpful class for growing mj. It's all you need, because as you probably assumed, anyone can grow pot. It's a weed for fuck's sake.

plants often yellow when nearing the end of their life cycle
growing weeds indoors can be tricky

Yeah? Probably, roots organics are known for super low pH. I have an organic adjuster and test kit ill have to start using! What's the proper pH for soil?

Make the females horny???? HORNY? BAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHHAHHAHAAAHAHHHA...... I am glad I had a ton of Jameson before getting to this thread. Made me laugh out loud.

Sorry OP, your "friend" is a fucking moron, but I have some rock formations that will give you unlimited positive energy and you can crush them up and feed them to your plants. You interested?

Rock formations aside, I find it funny you all seem to dismiss my question with so much laughter.
Why is it so far fetched that a plant that will hermie itself in an attempt to pass its genetics, would push more resin in the presense of a male. This is justt speculation but if plants throw of pharamones wouldn't the females sense him? And when they don't get pollenated they amp up the resin production to catch pollen, right? At least that's how it was explained to me, and still makes some sense.

maybe so.............but, who wants to risk pollen contamination? if it paid off.........people would be doin' it.................they're not.
