PH imbalance thanks to the good ole public water here in town. Now that I'm dialed in with RO water the plants are taking the F off! Thanks for the kind words & I have to say your 1st grow is progressing VERY NICELY! :)

Thanks for looking in man. Why the epsom salt though? never heard or read anything about that.

New update tomorrow night btw. Plants are looking awesome!

It's an old gardeners trick. Works real well. Pix I took of my 5week old bcgod bud show great results
I got pix of them somewhere on here

Ok guys and gals. We have ended week 5 from putting these ladies into the dirt from seed. Still not very big compared to alot that I've seen but i think they are coming along considering the ride they've had so far. Anyways, I am still just watering with regular water, no nutes. I transplanted them tonight into 3 gallon buckets and so that i don't run the risk of root bound, which I found out that is what it is called just today lol. But i knew what i didn't want and that was a huge ass root ball when you transplant, just didn't know it was called root bound hehe. Watered them with B1 before i transplanted and will continue to water them with it on a regular basis. Gonna wait about a week before i start feeding them nutes. So that leaves us with the pics. Here we go end of week 5:

Well there we go. Everything is looking nice and healthy. The new growth is coming in green. If you guys notice something i don't on these plants, please speak up, I'm not keen on knowing what they should or shouldn't look like yet. Alls i know is there is no more brown spots or yellowing sooo ya hehe. Thanks for stopping by guys. See ya soon!

Ah thanks man, I think they need to be way bigger after 5 weeks, but at least they look healthy! hehe
Not necessarily, it depends on what genetics you are working with. I have 2 plants right now (1 you saw, the other you did not) and after about 3+weeks, 1 is looking healthy as all get out while the other is finicky as FUCK! Just because your plants are taking a little while to come around doesn't mean you're doing anything wrong, it's just the genetics of the seeds that are not progressing as quickly as you'd like them to. Your plants are green with absolutely no distress showing on them and I think you are doing a bang-up job for your 1st attempt here. Keep up with the journal entries to chart your successes and drawbacks. I'm eagerly reading up on this now. :D

Well thanks again man. I did a TON of research and planning while i was waiting for my settlement which took 4 months to go through. You should see the notebooks of drawings and measurements hehe. But even after all that planning i still noticed that a few things wouldn't work like those 4100k lights. So I'm still learning and working hard to make sure things I do are the right way to go before i do em :D

Ever notice that even though you map out & construct a full fledged plan, you always end up finding new and improved stuff to purchase? This is the never ending hobby & I almost think I'd spend less money on crack or something sometimes. :D But in the end your hard work pays itself back with huge buds that you can kick back and enjoy, comparable to growing tomatoes.. ;) Doing good man, doing outstandingly good.

Always good to hear things like that, thanks bro. And ya, almost everything i planned out hasn't exactly panned out perfectly, even the way i wanted to hang the light in the closet didn't work lol. Had to get chain and big ass 1/2 inch thick hooks.

I had originally started out with 2 x 600w lights with 1mh & 1hps to grow bonsai plants indoors. The guy at the grow shop just sold me the lights & never voiced how strange that may have seemed at the time. Now I'm growing for a buddy of mine & nothing ever seems to go 100% as planned BUT it's the end result that usually turns out the most interesting. :D

Hey guys, end of week 6 now and doing the update a little early today since I'm prolly gonna be zonked out by midnight hehe. This week kind of flew by. Have had a few issues, the light kept turning off on its own, had to get a new timer and a new power strip. Seems to have fixed it. At first i thought i had a ghost hehe. Anyways, also have had an issue with some old growth on one of mah babies! Yellowing leaves and brown spots all over em. But it seems to be doing fine. I'll start adding some Big Bloom this week and next week I'll start with the Grow Big and try and get these babies ready for flowering. Also jsut got a Soil PH meter, apparently i should have gotten one of those from the beggining lol. Anyways, here we go, end of week 6 all the plants are healthy and about 4-5 inches tall with BIG ole leaves! hehe:
