Ok this is my firstime ever postin anything her as some of you may know i mostly just jump from topic to topic just trolling n shit.
But this time i figured i post it here since this is the best place to get informative advice about this subject.
So the resent years I've really been trying to get involved in MMJ and anything that has to do with the culture and lifestyle.

I dont know if many of you have heard about MMJ comming to illinois?
Well its finally here! Tham i kinda was excited at first so i actually put my job application online to work for a company thats gonna grow and distribute MMJ to patients.. so months go by and then i get this email enviting me to an over the phone interview so i was like hell Yeha! I was all syked about it.

Had the interview and i said all the right thing so long story short now they want me to drive out to one of their plants that they will be using.
But now im getting cold feet. I mean i know some stuff ive done a lot regarding MJ but now its here all just winging it.

So any advice from any one would be appreciated. Actually i didnt even know where to post this question?:-|

I'm in Chi-town. Where did you see the job listing, craigslist? Why get a legit job? You know how to grow. Even a closet grow has got to pay a lot more than a legit MMJ position, no?
Actually i was looking for a lawyer and came upon this mmj lawyer and i linked to his website. Also i got in contact with the ppl from Good intentions just to start networking and they also gave me some good job leads.

Im not sure if it was the lawyer or the few leads from Good intentions.
But im sure that job is gonna be 20 per hr or they also have a dispensary job openings and i applied for that too. But yeha i kinda embellished a few things over the phone interview and did some name dropping but now im a bit nervous.

Well, you should be fine as long as spelling and grammar aren't part of the job ;)

Don't tell them you use Advanced Nutes, makes you look like a newb.:bigjoint:
Really because thats one of the questions they asked!
I told them the line of nutes and they also adked if i grew organically and i said yes but my preference and the best results was synthetic.

I'm kind of surprised they don't want someone with a degree, not saying its necessary, but at $20 an hour... Not trying to take the wind out of your sails or anything but you figure they would want someone with "verifiable experience". Not saying you don't have experience but you know how employers are-they treat everyone like an unskilled moron unless you have verifiable experience and references.

On the other hand you must have said the right things, you got an interview. I wouldn't embellish too much more though. They will find out soon enough if you know what you're doing or not. I would suspect the interview process might be a "test your knowledge" type of interview. I would suspect they want to see how much you know before they pay you $20/hr. If you know your shit I would think you have just a good a shot as anyone. Good luck man!

20 an hr isn't much I made that or better trimming in N cali on large grows
Was that a legal grow? Don't need an answer. But in a legal grow how much you think they are going to pay someone to grow, or someone to trim? The adds I see on craigslist out in Denver don't pay near that. I've looked into this myself but I would also have to relocate. There are jobs out there but they sure don't pay any more than $20/hr. There was an add for an assistant grower, whatever that is? Paid $12/hr!!

Cant really say the legality of it but I can say this it all depends on the quality of trim and quantity you can do in a day if your good its possible but starting out 12 an hr sounds rite if your a newbie

And it also doesn't help that there is no shortage of people claiming they can grow wanting to get there foot in the door. Its one of those deals where if you won't work for $12/Hr, they'll just get the next guy who comes through the door who will.
