AP Headline

Senate Republicans vote to kill Obama's jobs bill
Those darn obstructionist Republicans and their damn majority in the Senate. Oh wait, the Dems voted it down. Obama has been on a month long tour calling for the House Republicans to pass his bill, thinking all along it would make it through the Senate. What more do you guys need to see to understand this guy is a narcissistic failure. It's long past time to admit he couldn't run a Subway sandwich shop, let alone the USA.

The Millionaire tax is just political; Democrats want to use it to show that Republicans are protecting the interests of the rich rather than the working class. The Democrats that voted against it, are moderate/conservatives who would rather not risk being labled as "tax and spend"... It'd be suicide for a southern Democrat to vote for this, for example.

The real jobs bill work will probably begin in seperate smaller bills and hopefully they get some of it through. But the entire bill wont make it, obviously.

I agree, but that's what makes the last month of our President on a whirlwind campaign bender such a disgrace.

Yeah, those people that have a "D" next to their name who don't vote for every little thing Obama wants to get done are really just Republicans and conservatives. There really is no such thing as a Democrat when it comes to losing. Republicans are 100% responsible for every bad law ever made, all dirty tricks are used by republicans, republicans are pure evil contrasted with the ever lasting 100 % purity of those people who have a D next to their name, but who are really democrats, except on losing days, then they are republicans.

"If your respresentive does'nt vote for this bill, then they need to explain why they don't wanna put teachers, police and fire fighters like _________,_____,and______ back to work. Pass this bill" (paraphrasing) Obama

Last time I checked...Teachers, Firefighters, and Police are funded on a local level....Wtf is he talking about putting these teachers back to work...and come to find out this teacher he gave an example of, he actually never met, and further.....The teacher has a god damn job and has never been out of work in the last decade! Aren't you guys sick of OBAMA lying his ass off to us?

No Mr Obama...They won't pass your bill, not just because it doesn't create jobs and increases the debt....Its because it expands the federal governments role in our lives and is probably unconstitutional as hell.

Obama has officially lost his fucking marbles.

Solyndra is about to BLOW UP in his face. Not kinda, nuclear reprecussions. Only the tip of the iceberg, corruption and political paybacks abound.

Fast and Furious is about to BLOW UP in his face. Holder is going down, resignation just around the corner. Good riddance to this scumbag.

Supreme court is going to scrap ObamaCare. First two years of his Presidency, just wiped off the slate.

Now he wants his stimulus projects without Congressional approval. Approval numbers in the toilet, Democrats fleeing from him like rats from a sinking ship.

This will go down as the all-time worst Presidency in the history of this fine country.

I don't care for him too much, but damn is it gonna suck when you have to admit Hannity of all people had him pegged from day one as an abyssmal failure waiting to happen. Gonna make Beck look like a genius, again. Just like has been the case for the last year or so, when the NY Times prints headlines that say exactly what he said would happen years ago when they were calling him crazy.

Actually, the bill would absolutely create jobs and does not increase the debt. Also, you're right that teachers, firefighters, etc are funded at the state and local level and that's why that portion of the bill is basically just financial aid to the states - which I'd like to stress is becoming increasingly important as state and local level government Austerity programs damper any hopes of economic recovery. While we're at it, I'd like to see you explain how any part of Obama's bill is unconsitutional? Since when are infrastructre, tax cuts, local government aid and unemployment extensions unconstitutional?

Cmon man, if you dont like Obama or his plan then maybe it'd be useful to actually explain why you dont like the plan... Right now, you just look like an Obama hater.

I really dont have to say much here, anyone claiming that Hannity and Glen Beck are right about anything is obviously biased and/or insane... I mean, I've seen O'Reilly speak the truth every once and a while but Hannity? Glen Beck? MuyLoco, I dont think they help your case at all.

A few Dems voted against the bill, not a single Republican voted for it - you don't see that as an indicator of something? As for the rest of your post - it is surprisingly accurate, Repubs are the cause of a great deal of the agony felt in this country and they usually vote against anything that might actually ease the suffering of the vast majority of us who live here.

It was never intended to pass and now the bills will be broken up - likely in ways that will benefit the Democrats politically. Obama and Reid will likely pair closing corporate loopholes with the payroll tax cut and the small business tax cuts, for example, and if Republicans vote against it than it'll cost them politically. Remember, a lot of the specific proposals in that jobs plan are popular.

Also, 75% of Americans back raising taxes on individuals making more than $1 million a year, according to an October 5 Washington Post/ABC News poll. This includes 89% of Democrats, 75% of independents, 57% of Republicans and 55% of Tea Party supporters... That's a slam dunk.

The fact you can't admit Beck has been right about dozens of his claims, as proven by the NY Times and other Liberal rags that excoriated him, publishing articles that now admit that which he predicted years ago (without apologizing or giving him credit of course).

You and your little liberal buddies may not like Fox News, but that's YOUR problem, not mine. You keep watching MSNBC or (LOL) Current TV, douchebags like Maddow and Olbermann, I wouldn't give a squirt of piss for the garbage they sling every day. You and anyone that believes ANY of that shit, have no credibility.

I may not like Hannity, not because he's wrong, but because he just repeats the same exact point over and over, day after day. It's too monotonous for me, but he had Obama pegged during the election and everything he predicted about the guy has come to pass. It's not even debatable, he called it.

I haven't seriously watched cable news in quite some time(I watch more Fox news than anything when I do, for the laughs), but I do still read the NY Times and CNN Money.

How about this, what exactly did Hannity get right?

While it may be possible to close tax loopholes in some cases, neither the Dems or Repubs are going to give up handing out tax loopholes. That's how they get their campaign funds, how they manipulate the people and business, a major instrument of their power. They're never going to give up power.

Glenn Beck is right about some things sure, but thats just it, he only gets half the story at best on practically everything and very little fact. His job is not to tell you truth, hes not a journalist, there is countless inconsistencies with his character and that alone shows hes a fraud who feeds on sensationalism for ratings. Glenn Beck is a false libertarian, hell he is THE false libertarian propagandist. He diverts libertarians away from the truth. As Nodrama said above, he serves as a distraction, he actually promotes conservatism among libertarian minded people, essentially distracting you in your dreams of liberty.

Beck, for all his supposed sympathy with libertarianism, he has a rather dim view of what it means philosophically, and if you add “anarchism” to the mix, well then Beck’s circuits just short out.

-

Glenn beck talks of the lefts evil deeds yet completely ignores the crimes against humanity of the Republicans and even goes as far as to promote their propaganda. I do listen to Glenn Beck every morning on the way to work and I do enjoy it that at least someone touches on some important issues...even if its the only political talk I get on my radio...but hes telling you guys only half the story and stealing the votes of libertarians for the republicans.

For a long time I just thought he was just an idiot and a habitual liar but it seems obvious to me now that its definitely the plan to distract the libertarians, Glenn beck and Sarah palin are both key figures in the hijacking of the Tea Party that took place immediately.

Liberty Dreamers, stay away from Glenn beck, Sarah Palin...and the Republicans...."Conservative Values" are Libertarian Principal, not "Republican". (and stay much further from obama ;))

Even conservatives admit that real conservatives are very rare, Id say maybe only 15% are really conservatives, all throughout history it has stood like that, most people today who think they are conservative are actually libertarian, Thanks to people like glen beck and rush Limbaugh people think their conservatives when its simply not true. How many people are really conservative on these boards? I'd say we've had 10 or 15 tops.

I was watching some MSNBC today. Chris Matthews was giving his "opinion" spewing some BULLSHIT liberal propaganda (to be honest i dont even remember what it was, damn weed) But go check out the end of his show today, thats what im talking about. And you could tell he was reading a teleprompter. I almost laughed myself to death. The Liberal media are TOLD what to say, even when its their "opinion", lmao. Oh and also, Al Sharpton is a complete fool
