ey now mate, my hatred is well earned richly deserved and ladeled out sparingly only to those who really really need a helping.
i dont hate catholics for what catholics did to my people for hundreds of years, but likewise i dont want catholics to have any power over me and mine ever again. which i think seems sensible.
just like italy banning facist parties for nearly 60 years, or black people not voting for a "reformed" klansman like david duke, or the israelis being doubbtful of the pallie's sincerity in the next round of phony peace talks that are really just an attempt to extort more concessions before the violence starts up again.
hate is often a result of hard won lessons.
when i was little i lived next door to a black family with a couple kids my age, we played together all the time, and i didnt even recognize that they were different from any other kids in the neighborhood.
then i wnet to junior high in a new school in a different part of town. there i learned that black kids dont associate with honkeys, and likewise i was expected by the other white kids to NOT associate with my best friend simply because he was black. unfortunately he was at a different school (for racial integration reasons i was bussed across town) and a short time later they moved away. from that point on, for the next 5 years i had ZERO positive interaction with black people. NONE.
as one of the few white kids at that school i was expected to only associate with the other whites, and it was the black kids who wanted it that way. i got in many fights, as i was the largest white kid in school, and my naturally friendly and gregarious nature was not what was expected many of the black kids decided i was that honkey to fuck with. on numerous occasions the larger black kids would dare the smaller ones to "steal on that honkey" with the expectation that i would not fight them all. they were wrong. i was nearly expelled on several ocaisions and i was daily accused of being a racist, a bigot, and a white supremacist. funny thing is i NEVER STARTED A FIGHT IN MY LIFE. i just win them.
it wasnt until i went to LA that i started meeting black people who were not automatically hostile to my presence, and i still dont assume somebody is an asshole based on their skin color, but my personal experience has taught me well, if there are 3 or more black males under 30 in a group, trouble is likely to ensue. so far thats been spot on. usually its name calling, insults or posturing but now and again i still find my self in a position to tussle with a few dipshits with chips on their shoulders, and they are usually not my fellow rednecks. nor chicanos, nor asians. ill let you figure out who likes to start fights with the big cracker with the easy smile and the limp.

times aint changed that much since the late 70's, and i was bussed to a different school across town so that the ethnic balance would please some liberal dixckwad, not because the schools were segregated.
the school 3 blocks from my hose was old, built in the 40's, the school i went to was new, built just 2 years prior but positioned in an area that did not have enough white kids to acheive the desired racial baalance. i went to a BETTER school than i would have without the bussing in every respect except i was the new kid in the town i lived in all my life and the white kid in a class that was mostly black and asian (the asian kids never gave me any shit, so whats that about?) solely to justify some lefty's wet dream of a colourblind society by separating me from my freinds and neighbors in an ethnically diverse neighborhood so i can be the token whitey in a school that was built in an are with few honkeys.
it may make sense to assholes with clipboards and statistical tables who think kid-unit A is equivalent and identical to kid-unit B so you can mix them up till you get the proper blend for your age of aquarius vision of life, but down on the street level it was fucked up.

i was informed by the school board that i had to take a 40 minute bus ride every morning so some liberal weenie could declare that this school had an ethnic balance pleasing to the gods of liberalism.
meanwhile the girl i was sweet on since the 4th grade went to the school i shoulda gone to, while i was stuck on a bus 40 minutes each way so i could enjoy the privilege of being their token cracker. oh yeah, and if the bus didnt show,, who had to walk?

anyhoo sammy, i learned my lesson back then, when some asshole with a clipboard tells me i gotta do something i wanna know why, not the fake reason, the real reason, and the real reason was if the asshole with the clipboard didnt check off the "properly racially integrated" box on his form the school wouldnt get some bonus federal monies. which they wasted on stupid shit. since i quituated that school system it has gone bankrupt twice and is currently in it's mystical THIRD bankruptcy despite all the funding they get from the state and feds.
the superintendant has a nice jag though. i did his brakes a coupe, times. you do the math.

On par with exactly what I'm thinking. Keynes, you seem to be harboring an enormous sense of resentment towards what you view as 'left wing' or 'liberal' because of past experiences. And much like today's Republican party, what 'liberal' or 'left wing' doesn't mean today what it did when you were in school. I feel like anything with the slightest inclination towards left wing politics or liberal thinking automatically gets a "FUCK THAT SHIT" attitude from you, which is a huge mistake on your part. As I've said before, nobody is 100% liberal or conservative and that's a point our politicians prey on, they expect you to feel the way you do and use that to their advantage. In today's world, it really is you and me vs. them (the politicians). It's not left vs. right, that is nothing but a distraction, divide and conquer. You and me fighting together for real answers and demanding real progress and change is the enemy to American politics. Our politicians know that, they do everything in their power to make sure the left/right issue is at the top of the list. The empower entire news organizations to complete the task. Fox News, MSNBC... you and I can both see the game that's being played. Everything, almost everything is bought, everyone in politics is paid for, corruption is rampant like never before and their voting record proves it. Left, right, no difference at all. The collective goal of American politics is to keep you as scared as possible while keeping you as uninformed as possible. We're at a time right now where that shit still passes as normal. Tomorrow, we have the ability to fact check for ourselves, I urge you to do so. Not every person you view as 'liberal' is wrong, likewise not everyone I view as a 'conservative' is wrong. ohh i get that, im not 100% anti progressive in fact theres a few areas where im far more liberal than our brahmin in chief (like on weed, or actually supporting a real single payer medical system as long as it actually has a payer, not a debtor), but incumbency is the nightmare that spawns our daytime horrors.
here in cali we got term limits on the state offices, and the lefties keep trying to eliminate it but keep failing. they piss and moan about how "experienced" politicians get thrown out and it takes years in office to learn the job, and other such twadlle. they dont understand that to the rest of us (non-political liberals,and every stripe of conservative, libertarian and even socialists) their braying is simply arguing that the incumbents barelky have time to graft up the joint and begin feathering their nests before they are forced out and a new guy has to start the process of bribes and patronage all over. they dont understand that we (about 80% of california) think this is a GOOD thing. seriously. i got a brother who is a dyed in the wool hardcore leftist, and every few years he tries to convince me that term limits are bad, and he just cant see why nobody understands his brilliant arguments. i tried explainin that the rest of us dont trust his "experienced" politicians with good reason, but he simply doesnt get it. its like the words have no meaning once he realizes you wont sign his petition to end term limits... again. the confusion and frustration on his face is quite hilarious when nobody wants to join him in righting this wrong, and crusading for social change, when term limits only came in like 20 years ago.
