Thanks for the detailed report and HQ pics, T-ray.

I have been really curious about this strain and it was nice to see a more outlined and concise review that went above and beyond the basic "Bro this shit is dank..".

Look forward to the smoke report. #2 looks like straight barnburning fire.

Cheers and Happy Holidaze to ya! This has officially led me to break my vow to avoid spending money at the 4/20-sale on attitude. :bigjoint:

Here's a look at each pheno and how they turned out from seed.

Been smoking them and will have a smoke report shortly.

1- Not a whole lot of smell (earthy/bland), nice solid rock hard nugs with good trich coverage.

2- "Bling" pheno. This is the pheno to me that is really dominating the competition. Smells strongly of menthol lemon lime with a hint of fuel. Really looking forward to the 2nd round (top post of page above). The amount of trich's on this pheno are amazing and she yields pretty well too.

3- Smells similiar to number 2, but has a little more fuel kick. She is pretty loaded with trich's as well. Her nugs are decently tight, but are definitely more airy than the others especially on the larger buds. She definitely has keeper potential, but will need further testing.

4- Smells very similiar to number 1. The budsize and structure is also very similiar to 1. Maybe a little more trich coverage than number 1, but definitely less than 2 and 3.

Awesome looking stuff.

My Jesus Og girls are doing great also. Hearty plants, I popped them a week after some Chernobyl beans and they showed sex first. I confirmed 3 of 5 are female. Transplanted into 7gal pots of Super Soil and looking forward to the flowering.

Jesus OG Smoke Report by T-Ray

Breeder: TGA Genetics
Strain: Jesus OG
Lineage: Hybrid- Hells OG X Jacks Cleaner X Space Queen

EYE APPEAL:

<7> Density
<9> Aroma
<10> Looks

Comments:

I chose to do this report on my favorite pheno "Bling". It stretches a good bit, but packs on some pretty solid/dense nugs by the end.

Yield:
Medium yielding (still testing out in 5 gallons so I will have a better indication shortly). There were two phenos that were heavy yielders, but weren't as special as this lady to me.

Smells/Taste:

She smells strongest of lemons, with hints of menthol, lime and fuel. Very pleasing to the nose.

Dry hit tastes like it smells. When smoking it tastes less like the smells but still carries over slightly. It is very smooth smoke, but if you over indulge/get overconfident it will expand your lungs. I have noticed when smoking that it smell reminds me of incense when burned. Very pleasing on on the taste palate.

Looks:

She is one of the most frosted out plants I have ever grown. Even the huge fans have crystals everywhere. It's a thing of beauty. Both on the plant and dried it looks absolutely covered in trich's. It's some fucking eye-candy for sure.

High:

The high is one that is very enjoyable. It has a solid high that is quite potent and mind altering. It is one that affects the head quite a bit. Not for a lightweight. I find myself going to this jar the most over any other variety I have currently.

Smoke Report:

<9> Potency
<9> Taste
<9> Smoothness
<4> Indica influence
<6> Sativa influence
<3> Effect onset (1 being Immediately and 10 being Creeper)
<2-3> Duration(Hours)
<9> Overall Satisfaction

Final Comments:

Overall I was very happy with this strain. All of them were good plants. Not a single nanner on any plants. All of them had adequate/good frost. It had something for the commercial grower and the connoisseur.

I have two plants (pheno 3,4) that I am planning on running for atleast 4 or 5 runs to give them their chance to further impress me.

The "Bling" (2) pheno will definitely be staying around my garden for a long time. No brainer keeper.

Glad i got a pack of these.

Your pics and report are top flight. 1st Clone runs (Esp TGA gear) is where it's at. I've run most of the TGA line and have seen most of them turn into completely different plants on the first clone run.

Good information myfather... i'm just now on my first run from clone but still in veg... will be interesting to see what they turn into -- do you find that the potency picks up on the 2nd run? Or that a plant that was solid from seed becomes crazy dank from clone?

I just said good morning to my girls. I flipped them to 12/12 on 4/20 it has been 12 days since I sexed and got them in 7gal pots. Def worthy of a quick photo update.

They were aprox 14-18in when I flipped them now they are ~32in
I only topped once, and have rushed these plants pretty much because I'm so excited to run it. But it is hearty vigorous growing strain. Im doing much more training with my clones I have, they are little hellions too.

Fantastic Tray.

Some of the better looking pics ive seen on this site. what are your temps right now? You have some super head stash in that JTR dom pheno.

reef- To me, seeds are just too vigorous for their own good sometimes, esp indoors. They try to outgrow themselves and can often lead to a wide variety of feeding problems. Clones are a bit more settled. You can even get a clone from your friend, and your 2nd run of that will be better. Plants just need to get used to their environment/food/medium. They should be dialed in in about 100 days of inception.

Looking great. Do you find overall plant production is best from clone not seedling?

IMO it's more about times ran then whether it's from clone or seed. I generally think that overall plant production increases from seed to clone because you have experience running that strain and can plan for what's ahead better.

Even when running clone only's it's still tough to nail it on the first run, it typically takes some time to get familiar with her likes and needs.

MyFather- Temps right now are staying around 75-77 pretty consistently. I did have some issues last summer with the record heat, so AC unit has been added to make sure they stay in check. Trying to prevent any heat stress this year.

Would you say that the JTR genes seem to dominate in this cross. None of the pics look like OG too much to me, which is not necessarily a bad thing. At least not the three phenos I have worked with. The buzz is much more functional than a pure og or OG18 sounds like? Did you process the hash into trim? This is mainly why I grow OG; for the super potent, very melty OG IWE. It looks like a keeper for a hashplant. I know sub likes hashy contenders! Danks for any input. I am moving soon so I want to have a good seedstock to restart from.
