Well I got another PC fan up top on exhaust duty and damn has it made a differance. The temps are down from a average of 89-90 to 80-81! So i'm very happy about that, now I just need to get the humidity up. I filled up a mason jar with water and put it down by the pots in the drainage try, but I don't think that's helping at all, any suggestions are very welcome.
Here's a pic of the inside of the top with both of the exhaust fans, the one on the right is the new one. They're both 120MM.

nice setup, i love rubbermaid grows, im currently finishing up my first hydro rubbermaid grow, and the one thing i suggest is put a screen in there and train the crap out of your ladies to conserve space. as for humidity, you could obviously use a humidifier, a bottle of water probably wont work that well, it needs more surface area exposed to evaporate, in mushroom cultivation you soak perlite in water and then put it in a container to raise humidity and it works great. maybe also a flat pan of water positioned so the air from your fan hits it.

also whlle theyre young throw a humidity dome on them, super simple all you need is a piece of plastic

That's a good idea with the perlite, get a small containter filled with that all moistened up and throw it in there. Good idea on the humidity dome thing too, ima throw some damn plastic baggy's over them right now, or maybe some saran wrap if I have any.

i use those plastic tops from old takeout food, you can just cut a 2 liter in half or something too
That's a good idea bro, I only have one 2 liter right now though, i'm gon keep my eyes peeled for some more though. It really sux cause I totally was gonna get some domes, but with fixing the heat issues and getting everything running it totally slipped my mind.

While I was at work today I grabbed 3 water bottles and when I got home I made some humidity domes for the seedlings out of the bottoms of them and made a bunch of v shaped holes around them for air. I think they're perfect! Lol, anyways, the soil was pretty dry so I watered around the bases of all the seedling's and then popped the humidity domes on-top of 'em. I'm sure they'll be moist and happy now. Also when I was at my neighbors I noticed they had one of those thick foil casserole pan things. I asked her if I could have it and she gave it to me. So I cut some holes on the top of it and a slot for the power-strip cord and put it on the light fixture, i'm not glueing it on or anything. I didn't take a pic of it cause it was too hard to get a good angle on it. I also lowered the lights some felt like the girls could take it. I'm thinking that I just might go ahead and buy 2 more Y-splitters and throw 2 more lights on the fixture, i'm thinking 2 27k's, you know, get some mixed spectrum in there? I might just go out and get those today actually, cause I have the bulbs already and the splitters are cheap. Anyways here's some pics of the domes.

Hell yea dude, I'm glad you're stopping by and checking up on me, you gotta get one of these going yourself. When I got my seeds they gave me like 10 free ones of unknown genetics (though i'm sure they're EXCELLENT) i'll throw you some to get you going homie. Though beware, this setup does look cheap but it's taken me some dinero to get it to where it's at.

Dude, u could totally just get a grow going in ur closet again like you had, just get a new doorknob with a lock and key on ur room, who cares if the roommates wonder why? Just tell them you wanna make sure your stuff is safe while your gone. I'll totally post some more pics in the next couple of days, right now the foliage is twice as large as they were when they sprouted. I'd take some fresh pics but it's such a bother to get in there that I don't wanna go through it unless there's significant changes in the girls.

So I went ahead and got 3 new Y splitters for the light fixture. I put on an extra 3 cfl's all 2700k. So now I have 6 6500k and 3 2700k bulbs in there, that should be good I think for the whole grow. Though I think I could get away with 2 more, though If I do that it'll be during flower, and they wouldn't be on the fixture, i'd probably just hang them by themselves. Here's some pix of the beefed up fixture minus the tin roasting pan reflector.

O I forgot to mention that the 3 new bulbs are all 26 Watts, so with all 9 bulbs at 26W that brings total wattage in the Rubbermaid to 234. Anyone know how to edit the title of a thread?

Well it's day six and the girls are looking real good, they've grown a lot since yesterday. I'm thinking they look pretty good, they're so cute and looking strong and green.
