Jaws Gear - Chem Soda Cookies

Not much to update. Still havnt made it to the hydro shop for coco, no im not lazy - closest hydro shop is 70+ miles from me! Hoping this weekend!

So i decided to molest the leaves of my Chem Soda Cookies. They are very soft and velvety. Still very uniform structure, which really suprises me with a polyhybrid. To me, that says alot about the breeder and his selections for parents. The smells coming off them are very unique. Not exactly what I had expected. Very fruity! Hard to explain, like sweet mangos and sour fruit candy?

I dont know the lineage of Chem Soda, IF the "soda" is Black Cherry Soda, then that is what I am smelling. If you have ever grown BCS, then you know what im talking bout!

Maybe someone with knowledge of or that is close to Jaws can chime in about the "Chem Soda" lineage

Here is what I could find. Now i am insure if Jaws used the Chem Soda cut or if he ised Chem Soda BX3

The Chem Soda cut is: Black Cherry Soda x Chem D BX3

Chem Soda BX1 is: Chem Soda x Dark Matter (MTN x Rusty Haze) - so another fruity variety

So atleast in veg, it appears the Chem Soda, more specifically the BCS is really dominating! This, my friends, is great IMO. I am excited, this has the potential to have the beautiful magenta flowers of the BCS and the Chem D should really pump up the yields and potency!

Well, speaking of cuts: i have been talking about having to expand my veg area, well there is no more "talking about" it HAS to be done.

I have coming to me GSC forum cut, The White, Grape Ape, Purple Caddy and one more!

In a couple weeks im getting Blue Dream

Next month i will be getting Cherry Pie, Ghost OG, Platinum OG and GG4

Ahhhh shit, life is good!

Curious to see what you think of the Glue. It smells like perm solution to me. Ever smelled that?

Im just curious to see what all of the hupe is about! Im most excited about The White, shit looks fucking AMAZING

When u get a chance to pop them PB beans I sent yo.... Er, um that YOU aquired - keep your eyes open for a bit more stretchy, viney like pheno that has very skinny sativa like pinacle leaves. She will stand out in veg if you get one. I have only seen it twice out if 30-40 beans popped. The flowers are super dense rock hard nugs. Alot of stretch between internodes. The flowers actually look almost identical to GG4 In structure. You know, the really fat calyxs that kinda stack on top of each other.

By about week 5, all of the outer edges of the leafs turn a nice purple, and lower calyxs of each flower begin purpling and start swelling so large they look like they are gonna burst. By week 7 the entire flowers are marbled with a subtle purple. And they begin to smell strong, really strong of skunky fruits with a light nail polish smelling undertone. (Actually the only way to describe the smell is if you have ever gone to a nail salon with your women, smells exactly like that!)

They are done by about day 55...

After you cure em though, that nail polish smell is so intense. The fruit smell is completely covered by it. You open the jar and you almost feel like u will get a headache it is soooo strong

Getting all of those soon too except GSC as I have a cut of that already. It's the OGKB cut from my research but I've heard Platinum GSC resembles OGKB so there's a possibility it could be Platinum GSC but I don't think so as the way she looks and grows fits to the tee what others who have actually grown her. Life is good bro and it's gonna be a great year. So many good clones coming my way and treasures to be found in all the great beans I have. Look forward to seeing your work with everything

I'm smoking on some Glue right now that I got from the guy that entered his bud in the High Times cups in Cali and Michigan and placed in the top 3 in the hybrid category in both cups. So I know it's legit. Strong perm solution smell, nice bud, definitely Indica leaning. I like it, but it's not all that IMO. I'll grow it out once or twice and see how it likes my soil. I had a cut from someone else, but I have concluded that it was not GG#4. Apparently there are several gorilla glue cuts, but #4 is the one you want. I must have had a different one the first go around. Hopefully you get #4.

I will def be popping them PB's. I've got a 5 pack from seed that by chance I germinated just before I got the ones from the lil birdie, 4 females so we'll see what comes of those. I did germinate the 6 Cherry Bomb x LPD and all six came up. Excited to see what's in store there!

Phew, made it to the end of the thread. How is thing already 5 pages lol. My chem soda cookies testers will be going for a swim on saturday night. Just hope I have better luck with these than other peeps. Thinking about germong some bag seed along side just for comparison of germ rates/control group

I got a killer pheno of lucky charms that appears tobe white dominant (asked cornbreadricky on ig and he seemed to agree) if you are interested in a cut for your white bx project.

The Glue is more curiosity then anything. It really isnt a strain i would typically run, i just wanna see what the hype is bout! Depending on quality vs yield, she may stick around a while but if im not blown away then I will probably only run her a couple times, then gift iut a bunch of cuts so I can always get it back in the future.

It is def #4, the person im getting it from got it at Dark Heart and theirs was recently verified by the breeder.

I cant wait to see all the goodies u r running! I have never seen or heard of the nail polish pheno coming out of an "original breeders" pack of Plush.. If you end up with the one BCS dom pheno that finishes in 45-50 days I will have to do whatever it takes to get a cut from u! i am still upset that I let it go. I gave cuts to 2 or 3 people and them lazy fucks just flowered em out and never took clones. They ended up just using em as a quick harvest, gave em like 10 rooted clones each and they just vegged em for a week and flipped.

Also looking forward to the Cherry Bomb X and how she looks in your setup. I am sure you are gonna like em (especially the yield!)

*im not sure if you run propetual garden, I wanted to warn you - i had 7 or 8 in flower and one of them threw like 4 or 5 nanners out of a lower branch literally a day or 2 b4 I was planning to harvest. It was just a couple and could have been caused do to the -20* temps outside. My basement was only about 55 dgrees and the water was coming out of the pipes in the 30s & 40s and was barely 50-60 defrees by the time I used the water on the plants

Didnt silky mane have some issues with his being weird/dark on the inside? Not a stack of failed germ reports or anything just wanna make sure if I have troubles it wasnt on my end lol. Gotta use the little collection of bag seed that is piling for something, they wont get grown, just germed. But I will be shooting you a pm some time here today.

Haven't flowered her yet jus got her mid February and she's very slow vegging so I'm trying to let her get some size on her but I may just flip her and she how the stretch is so I know how she grows. Been trying to find a way to speed her up but nothing yet. Sounds like you got some great plans in store. Gonna be doing some crosses myself. Can't wait to see what comes of them
