Definitely. I like NL#5 x Haze, and of course SSH is a great haze. Both are moderate flowering, they say 9 weeks but more like 11.

Neville's Haze is excellent but is a major commitment to one plant. My brother once force flowered one outside by bringing it in for 12 hrs
and it took all of 20 weeks to finish. Might shave that down to 16 weeks inside which is what they claim flower time to be.
You didnt mention the Mango Haze...

And I cant imagine bringing a haze plant in-n-out for 20 weeks!!

I never did get to try the Mango. I have heard really good things about it.

He flowered that out when we were much younger and it was so worth it. One of my top 5 smoke experiences ever, straight trippy, mind altering mana.

I have 3 clones of Mango Haze, but have heard its less trippy, and more stoney

Great stuff guys!

I chopped the SWOG Kush tonight.

The damn thing was so top heavy that I had to start hanging it immediately.

Here is a shot right before lights on:

I repositioned the four remaining mature plants onto the side of the tent
that has the Kessils and put the first four new plants into flowering.

These are the three Cannaventure Mothers Mix plants and one Somango.

These plants had this entire last Crop to Veg in the Veg closet and they
are extremely ready. I could not put off starting them, and I may well
have to trim them.

They will be monsters:

This last one was so vigorous that I had to run it around the edge of
the bucket....it still exploded!

Somango, about to be moved:

So, the march continues:

Take care all,

JD

P.S. I blasted a tube this evening....wish me luck in dealing with the goo!

"simon method " for curing ftw.
another good way to cure is freeze drying in a freezer after a proper hang dry
both are a 2 week+ plus curing process.

IMO the fastest way to speed dry isnt that speedy but will give u a great idea of whats to come is to just sample once the plants hung dried properly.
if im going to smoke a sample fresh off the plant i just put the fresh buds (cut into tiny pieces) in the middle of already cured weed that or i just rip all the thc of the fresh bud to taste it by its lonesome

Well, I sampled it in time to taste the butane, of course! :0)

After some resting it strikes me as very clean. I am trying to whip
it to follow FM, and will need a hot water bath for another whip,
but I am off to watch my beloved Chargers do who-the-fuck-knows?? (!).

I am looking forward to doing some ice bubble too, soon.

I use a hand blender, on low, in a 5 gallon bucket, to make the initial
pour into the bags.

I did pretty well, but the consistency of the results sucked hard. (little
rocks...rocks) I want to do the Frenchy Bottle this next time.

Good luck,

JD

I used buds, and ground them.

They were all old, larfy, or were some oddity that I did not want to smoke.
(i.e. the OG Kush Week #5 stretch-chop buds, some weak Hawaiian Snow, etc)

I have yet to use top shelf stuff, even trim, and I look forward to trying this.

Well Bass, I am no expert, but I believe that the problem in general,
or one of them anyway, is that taste often carries over into the result.

So, I will not mind stoney, but relatively tasteless, erls, but I would find
stinky, moldy, or rotten tasting erl disagreeable.

So, the question for us both is whether the material we are using still
tastes good. I think that mine has little taste left, but it is not malodorous.

Up with old, down with mold. Mites have no taste at all. How's that? ;0)

Hello all,

I checked the Kosher Kush tonight and I am thinking that while the
PurpleBerry might be ready in a few days that it will need most of
the next week.

This will be week #10.

Now that I have the Cannaventure and Somango plants in the tent,
I can relax a bit.

I even got to move the new seedlings into the Veg closet. They were
hitting their ceiling on the clone table.

Now I can pop beans from the new BB drop I got. This includes Blue Pit
and Engineers Dream.

The LA Con is days from being jar-able. The SWOG and Headband are
even further. I want to taste them! :0)

Take care,

JD

Thank you both.

LOL, when I checked the tent after the first night for the new CVMM and
Somango plants, when I started to worry about the stretch.....then I remembered
that I have them on top of additional 5-gallon buckets. I should be fine.

The LA Con is just about ready for the jars.

It is hilarious, how well the timing seems to be working out. I finished off
the Chem 4 rolling for the buds while watching the Chargers die on the vine
one more time. ....and my bro finished off the Blue Cheese and Somango.

I am down to some Deadhead and (lol) for 8 month cured AK-47 from a few
Crops ago.

Have a great week everyone.

I have some long cured buds as well.
I had some last over a yr ad be still decent.
Seems most my stuff gets sleepier and stonier after the long cure even the indicas as they loose the head high and energy.
I guess this is normal though?

I am betting that there are unstoppable breakdown processes
that include THC breaking down into CBN. High -> Snooze :0)

My AK is also browns/goldens/tans ...."agouti" (like a rabbit, but
more brown than silver) at this stage. i.e. all greens are muted.

BTW: I got my Blackberry and male/female Kiwis this weekend.
They are in soil now.

I will post some garden shots later, time permitting.

I will deal with IRL. Wish me luck!

CBNs that is interesting.
My purple AK was slightly racey initially, now all but gone.
I donr have much daytime smoke.
My DOG 2010 pheno 1 is too paranoid for me honestly, and pheno 2 is lazier.
I found 2 DOG beans, and will pop them soon and try to make some more.

But I have switched my veggers to flower so in a few months Ill have some new strain choices.
Hopefully the haze doesnt end up taking forever to finish!

I am interested in the Haze as well.

I popped into the cave to have a cig.

I will be moving my seed tray back onto the clone table, now
that there is room. This will make taking clones of all the other
new breeds going into the tent much easier. (I kill clones with
water mostly, if I am correct)

BTW, I decided to finish a small lower bud of the LA Con, to see
how it tastes. I find that I can finish a bud that it almost jar dry
by just putting it on the cable box, or some such.

It is a bit loose, but it was a bottom bud, and I do like the look:

These were taken with the flash and under a lamp.

Take care,

JD
