I think that their Blue Pit is one to shoot for...but they are out of beans right now.

Let's just wait until I get the PK and Deep Psychosis into flower. :0)

I regret seeming to suggest anything negative about them. ....they just got the best of me this round.

Excellent. The SWOG Kush is another one I wish that I'd kept.

I believe that I have another seed and moght get a local clone of it as well.

SWOG Kush is a tasty breed.

I need to make an actual list. I always put things on the mental list, but often times something else takes precedent when it catchs my interest.

Hello all,

I took the Trainwreck #1 down the other night.

It made another in the series of "shrubs" that I have been
growing of late :0) but this one has the fattest tops.

It's yield was fine, and, if the taste is good, then this one might
be a keeper. (it still has a long way to go, of course)

I have been wrapping Trainwreck #2 around it's bucket for a very
long time now....more than 10 weeks.

It got it's last trim and train. I re-tied all the tops, trimmed off a couple
that were ahead of the pace, and then snipped off the terminal buds of
the two main-lines that I have been taking along the side of the bucket.

This will stimulate the side branches to take off.

...now I expect to have to give this plant a full+ flowering cycle, as it
is very likely to grow a log of buds, and to take a while to fully mature.

What you are seeing is the main tops either taken across the face, or
around the rim of the bucket.

This just in:

Female pre-flowers have been spotted in the Engineer's Dream!

On the downside, I am seeing what I think are pre-flowers on the
Jack The Ripper, but I am not seeing any anthers yet...zero hairs.
This begins to make me think male, but I am going to wait until it
is fully obvious. This is my last JTR bean. I have not missed a female
yet, and only JTR and Plushberry remain undetermined.

Another good note for today: I checked the clone tray and have
strong root and confirmed clones of the Deep Psychosis and Plushberry.

I have struggled to get a good DP clone. This one's clones often just
started turning black, from the tips down, right after being taken.
I had lost a couple of PB clones as well, previously.

This time they both had strong roots. Here is the DP:

Continuing on the matter of dealing with the Veg of the various breeds
that I am growing, I should add that I put the Green Crack (seed, HSO)
into the tent when I harvested the Trainwreck #1.

This means that several of the breeds that were putting pressure on me
to flower them have been placed into the tent, including Holy Grail Kush,
Purple Wreck, Sour Cherry #2, but Green Crack was just ready.

The HGK exploded as expected, but will stay under the light I am thinking.

The Purple Wreck curled right up the instant it was fed. LOL I flushed it,
will likely lose the biggest fan leaves, and will just let it dry out for most
of the rest of its flowering cycle.

I am really working to deal better with the effect of my going perpetual
on the feed I am giving. I have already over-done it a few times.

Another interesting issue to bring up, recall that I jumped on some local
San Diego clones. I actually know the dude online, at ICMag, and look
forward to growing these out. All these need is to give me viable clones
and I will be up-potting them to be flowered.

So, I took clones of local, San Diego clone-only females of Tahoe OG, Wet Dream,
Casey Dog, Green Crack, Grandaddy Purps, and A-Dub.

There are some interesting stories here. Tahoe, GC, GDP you all know, but
Wet Dream is a Ocean Beach invention for the band Slightly Stoopid and
ADub was another invention of the local San Diego crew (IIRC)

FWIW, I took clones of the Ace Panama and G13 Purple Haze as well.

Onward and upward,

JD
