Javadog's Next Adventure

Well crew, I kinda blew it....my LEC arrived...fast and appreciated...but it is 240V

I failed to notice this on the form.

OK, so I either send it back, or plug the tent in in the laundry room?

If you know what I am talking about this is a trans-gendered plug....sideways...
and I do not think that I can just use an adapter.

Now, this is on an isolated circuit.

I got tired of my mushroom fruiting chambers popping the breakers so I had
dedicated lines put it. It is cool....for all the breakers supporting rooms, I have
three plug plates in the man-cave that are each the only receptacle on their circuit.

I am tempted to have the circut upgraded, but that would involve too much $ and
exposure.

Any idea? Am I looking at a ship-back?

Thanks team!

Honestly I would prefer to get a specific unit that I can plug into a
So California wall outlet that takes that 120V and makes it the 240V
expected...the unit I showed is back and forth and multi setting.

It is more for international travel.

I need to find a better unit. I will report.

That is awesome, and I could probably do that, with my setup,
but the parts would make that route more expensive than the
multipurpose travel converter. That unit above is 500W rated
and might work. Great idea though.

Wiring 220/240 is easy! I had to do it for a dryer back in the day. All you need is room in your panel for a 220 breaker, a 220 breaker, 12 gage romex, and an outlet.

Yes - I have used the Top Hat name and the Too Phat name on my gifted seed packages.

the 110/120v version has a step up in it, the Philips eballast is designed for 220/240v.........you will suffer losses

I would also recommend running a new line if your dead set on CMH...........or send it back and buy a 250w/300w cob kit and keep your existing wiring and no bulbs to replace for 5+yrs.

http://timbergrowlights.com/products/grow-light-kits/ all you need is a frame, everything else is done for you

good luck java

Thanks TC. Bass if my C-99 (from Female Seeds via Attitude) turns
out nicely, then I will buy a shipper and send you a clone. :0)

I am definitely looking to check out these Grimm Brothers lines. I have a
full pack of Apollo 13 F4s made from GB stock by Motarebel, the C-99 from
Female and Blimburn seeds, the Apollo 13 BX from TGA, and now I just
got the official C-99 pack from GB themselves.

Oh, and there is a Halloween sale, I must share, at The Dank Team, starting
at midnight tonight.

I am thinking about the Cannalope Haze from DNA.

(nope....sold out...damn! ;0)
