Some news from the garden....

I took down the Desert Diesel and put a new Sour Kosher
into its place.

The DD was another plant that was harshed by lack of attention
and a new nute line that I did not know....too bad as it was large
and lovely.

I will enjoy the smoke all the same....there just might have
been a good deal more...

The huge, and *very* green, Jillybean is trying to take over the view,
but here you can see the Kosher Tangie and Cheese Surprise along the
left side of the tent....these plants stand on the divide between where
I realized what was happening to my plants and now....they are a tad
place but look to better produce:

The new Sour Kosher is very dark and green:

Here are the Jillybean tops next to the Training Day tops:

I decided to just drop the TDs 6" pot onto the JB because
the loss of leaves left space to use. :0)

...and my Training Day is at about 4-5 weeks and is not showing balls, yet!

Have a great day all!

Thanks TC. As always, I appreciate having you here.

That was the Super Lemon OG, from DNAs Limited Line.

The smoke is very tasty. It is not crazy strong, but the Doc
tasted my Green Crack....that was strong. The SLOG is
less so, but that shit was crazy, SLOG is fine. ;0)

LOLGreat stuff, and spot-on from my perspective Worm.

I have had a few non-lemon lemons, including a nanner
popping Super Lemon Haze, and a Lemon Thai Kush from
HSO that was really lovely but failed in flavor.

This one is good. Not the Lemon Pledge legend of Psycho
Killer, but a real Lemon flavor. Full stop.

I look forward to the Doc growing it out. I had the pleasure of
personally handing him that one.

The strongest thing that I am smoking right now is my Chem 4 OG.

Sadly this was the mother and I lost the clones, tho a couple
of buds (practically :^/) are still in the cloner. We will see.

I am also very hopeful of my being able to get my Training Day
to maturity without its popping balls. This breed seems to have
done this to many that grew it. It is an LA Con cross and so I
would really like to smoke it.....loved that one...

Take care,

JD

P.S. I started with Ocean Forest Worm. It did me right.

I have made a super soil as well, but I used it on a Swiss Chard
in the backyard. (that plant is now going into it third year, or more)

I am working with some Pro-Mix now and am thinking that I will
move toward ROLS, adding nutes, long and short term N, and
trace elements, when I recycle the soil.

This will allow me to use things like beneficial nematodes that
I love using but cannot argue for buying every flowering cycle.
...this idea is that I will build up a supply of killer soil.

Hey,

I took some shots right after the lights went off.

This allows me to show the half-way to healthy plants,
the Cheese Surprise and Kosher Tangie:

(sorry if a little blurry)

...and the nice and dark green newest stuff:
IMG_4446.JPG
(the new Sour Kosher from DNA)

The semi-crisped stuff is producing some nice buds. It is just the
the yield suffered significantly.

There are a few Training Day tops in there, and, on the far right, you can
see a Cotton Candy that, like the TD, is being flowered in a 6" pot.

Take care all,

JD

Hey JD Is that a molybdenum def in your last picture? reddening stalks and leaves looking yellow and crumbled like that, i get that every once in a while. but i always thought it was nitrogen. It seems to be doing just fine though. Wanted to get your thought because i have the exact same issue sometimes.

Well BT, you are probably ahead of me on that one.

The truth is that I have found that a plant in this shocked state
will turn around as they really get dried out. The trouble is that
I only have the 7-9 weeks to work with these plants. They turn
around but not fast enough.

I will look that one up and will keep it in mind.

I really appreciate your taking the time.

What is a strong source for that specific nute, I wonder....

Thanks again,

JD

P.S. One of these days, I will get the time to mail some clones
and then we will see bros. :0)

When I have shocked a plant in Veg, I can wait it out, letting it
get dry and then, starting with plain water, I can start to grow it
out again.

I have not reversed a shock in flower yet....not enough time.

Flushing can help the medium.

not much stretch to her. a good veg, many toppings, scrog and/or stakes is what i recommend. she finishes in 8 weeks
