infact even tho i dont care for alien i will back he/she/it whatever they are up on this one........ bottom branches usually only produce popcorn buds because they dont get sufficient lighting which is a waste of energy and only takes away from the main colas ..... of course u can add secondary lighting to them and they will yeild fine

Did you say you have 0/10 with rockwool? And your telling people rockwool sucks and to stay away from it? Hmm...strange, if im getting 156 outta 156 and you get 0/10, i think one of us is doing something wrong here right? With some practice with rock wool i bet that you can be pulling 90% or higher no prob. And as for your trimmed up plant, that undercut looks pretty good. I wouldnt say you went too high, lollypopping is a term reserved for the extreamists. The guys who go five inches higher than you did and get a terrible yield but have five good looking colas on the ends and a naked plant.

i know im doing sumthing wrong with rockwool... its obvious...thats why i said it sucks stay away from it IMO!!!!!! (in my opininon) incase u didnt know what imo was..its my opinion and i wont try it and wont reccomend it , but if you like it great...what ever works for u... im glad u have success i want everyone to grow greeat weed...

Ya but the statement you made was rockwool sucks...... No, rockwool is amazing in the hands of someone who knows how to use it. The better thing to say, no disrespect intended, would be i cant clone in rockwool.
The thing about growing ive learned is that theres some facts, and theres some absolutes, but most of the time theres no right way to do it. Theres just a right way that works for you. Your small cfl grow may need some under cutting because the penetration to the bottom of the canopy doesnt produce. But a grow with 20 1k lights and low 7 foot ceilings probably wont have penetration problems. A tall three branch sativa outside probably doesnt need to worry about light penetration, where a hybrid like what i had outside isnt getting any light to the center because of the bushiness of it. I run all my plants once with no trimming once to see where they need to have work done IF at all. I have a huckleberry kush that produces from top to bottom. Absolutely no need to do anything to it. But that jillybean next year outdoor, WILL be trimmed up big time.
What this old dog new tricks grower has learned over the years and grows is that theres always something that you can change to make things more efficient, cheaper, safer, more productive.

excuse me but i use 1000w hps on 100% AND 240W CFL in my 4x4 room....yes its small but more then adequete lighting

This is a long month for most growers, no worries. I was a little stressed last night after another 16 and i ripped desert dinks head off. But i dont like when people are stupid, and put words in my mouth lol. Stupid guy reads a helpful loong ass post and cherry picks some shit to try and make me look dumb. i hear ya... i havent been sleeping well at all and to make it worse my city has had a 2month long dry spell of no weed.... im used to buying a pound every two weeks now im lucky to find a gram a day...not to mention im 4 months into my growing journey and havent got a a harvest yet due to bag seeds,males and hermies and now all of my funds are diminished

youll get it. I started with rockwool, hated it, moved to rapid rooter plugs because they have proper ph and are easier for beginers. Then i got sick of paying the rapid rooter prices one day and figured id try rockwool again and i havent ever looked back. Once you figure them out theyre the cheapest and most reliable way to go. But you have to ph them right, and like all cloning, have the right temps and humidity, and distance from the light....and right amount of light. I wish i had that picture of the clone trays handy where i took a picture of the plug tray bottom where every single plug was rooting and every spot was filled. Even the ones sticking out on the sides and getting beat up by the dome when i had to take it off to spray rooted. You keep the growing up and youll end up in my shoes one day saying rockwool is the king. Youll see

I feel ya. I see guys using bagseed all the time and having herm issues, it hermed for you to get those seeds from your bag of weed right? Why is the plant going to do something different for you? But sometimes they work. I hope you decided to run some fem beans or clones this time.

lol i doubt that i actually have about 24 cubes , sum 3" and sum 1.5" so maybe oneday but for now im sticking with what i know luckily i over ordered midweek song seeds so im nice and stocked up for a few cycles

yea i got all fem seeds lmao i said fuck males and herms .... spent over 200 bucks on midweek... got sum awesome strains tho .... blueberry og , black destroyer , purple paralysis , atomic bomb , white widow , buzz light gear plus all my freebies.... about 40 beans all together and i can only run about 7-8 stuffed in my room at a time
