i feel, however, that i must point out that nobody should feel really safe. It is true that ip's or other secret information wouldn't be handed down to authorities easily. But we have to look at the technologies and methods both governments and companies use to gather and analyze data, information. It is called data mining and it uses mathematical methods akin to statistics and probability, as well as algorithms generated by artificial intelligence. Banks and retail stores use this methods thoroughly to assign their own credit scores and credit eligibility. Google was one of the pioneers analyzing your searches and building a profile; which later helped create the AdSense, so they could target advertising accordingly. It is a tool for prediction and classification.
My point is; the information is out there. Simply by getting a few data like state, weather conditions at a certain time, backyard size, number of dogs(which most of the dog owners have put it out there) you can cross reference that with any other residence or sneaky government list they have and BAM they know who you are. Plus privacy rights in the US are very undermined.
This works for the entire internet. If you check facebook and sites like rollitup on the same machine you might make it too easy.
I am not advising to put an aluminum cap over your head and encrypt all your data through proxxys. Just be careful with what you post out there. If they want to find you they will anyways.

I grew one plant, inside a PC case and harvested early, I didn't even bother to try and make a grow thread lol. Hopefully a guerrilla grow this year though.

Lol, if I had my apartment complex call the cops on me for having 4 plants and the detective calls and laughs about it, then I can guarantee you they are not going to mess with this site lol.
By the way, the detective only asked me 3 questions. Do you have a prescription card? Are you under the max allowed plants? are you under the max amount of processed? That was the point he kind of laughed when I said I only had 4 plants going in a small box lol. He said get it straight with your apartments and thanks for calling him back lol.

It's not safe for big growers. For sure people have already been busted through this site, so saying it's safe for everybody would be a lie. But it is safe for most people, like me.
