Is this right?

Hi, I have lots of buds forming on some Wild Thailand and am a little concerned. I have heard lots of talk of odor, and my minimally successful greenhouse grow had some odor, but these have nearly no odor. There is a very week hint of a bud odor just starting. These plants are getting heavy with bud to the point that the branches are bending under the weight, I can see with my magnifier the there are lots of drops of resin forming, but no strong odor even close to the buds.
Is something wrong? I know it is early because all the hairs are still white and the resin drops are clear, but I though I should be smelling something. These plants have the genetics to produce pot with a THC content between 21% and 24% and I would hate to screw it up because of something I stupidly forgot to do.

strange alright, can you see the trichs without the magnifing glass? you should be able to, it may just take a good cure after harvest to bring out the smell or maybe its just not a strong smelling plant, if you have good resin production i wouldnt be too worried

terpenoids are what causes the smell in all plants not just cannabis
i guess your strain has not got a large amount of terpenes in it
it doesn't sound serious though
as long as you can see the thc crystals through a microscope
it should still get you high

What I can see without the magnification is a frost like effect on the buds, the hairs, and the part of the leaves close to the bud because I am old and my glasses suck. I am planning to get a usb camera magnifier. With that I will be able to show you, but not now.

well if u can see frost on the buds i would say you are good, you probibally just have a mild smelling strain, should get a little stronger toward harvest time i would say and as ur seeing frost i would imagine its gonna get u baked too! let us know how it turn out m8 i recon ur fine anyway

I have had a small plant that really REALLY smelled and a six footer that you hardly know is there. Both good smoke but the stinky one smells and tastes better than the bigger less smelly. Again, both very stony though. It's all in the genetics. I wouldn't be concerned although I was at first when mine didn't stink so I know how you feel.

some strains just dont stink. i just harvested a bagseed sativa which had little smell... it is pretty good smoking herb...
northern lights dont smell too much while its growing, but its the all time fave in my circles
