Ok. Stats. First grow. Organic nutes 1 400 mh/hps in a 2 by 3 closet 1_6 in exhaust fan and an air cooled hood 3 white castle seeds fem

I am starting week 10 of 12/12 as this strain is expected to harvest 10 to 12 weeks I'm pretty close. I let them get as close to the aircooled light as possible for dense buds and one cola grew taller than the rest. This cola was directly under bulb and withing 2 inches of the glass on air cooled hood as it wasn't hot. Now I noticed the leaves yellow and some thick white on top of cola and hoped it was just a fat nasty bud. But now as I look at sugar lease they r crispy and have little tricomes. The lower part of cola bud looks good but still no sugar leaves. hind sight is always 2020 but I should have been rotating in such a small space and now I know. My question is will this recover, will it be potent, will it add time to flower period to recover. What the heck am I dealing with. Thanx

That's the best I can get with crappy cell camera. U can see the thicker white clusters of pistols at top. Even maybe the start of a hermi nanner and crispy leaves

I'm within 2 weeks of expected end date. What type of issues with potency will I see. And is there a way to recover..
.or am I just being a total nube and stressing myself to much

just those bleached areas will be effected, raise the lights, put your hand where the top of the plant is and hold it there, if it's uncomfortable for your hand, its the same for the plant. I wouldn't use nutes. just plain water till you finish. all you can really do.

Thanx ya im trying to be patient lol!!! but that's the only cola that shows that bleaching so I moved it out from under direct light. Light is aircooled with a total overkill for fan 440 cfm (fan is on thermostat and has idea speed of 25%) for a space thats 20 cubic feet of grow area so heat to hand test must be ineffective in this situation as thats how i judged it. I was under the impression that the closer i could get the light to plant the better, and now i know to maintain some distance Light is at max height and I have 9 inches or so now to play with (first time I can say that!!) So I can expect the top of that bud to be kinda crappy?? Should I dim the light for finishing or keep it full power

Lol. Yup mistakes = experience and I've been reading about drying and I think i can do it better in microwave

Just messing around lol. Gonna chop when I see amber, trim and hang in dark closet with exhaust fan to keep humidity down until ready (5 day minimum )to jar and burp daily for at least a month. I sure don't wanna put in 6 week veg 12 week flower to destroy time and energy by fast dry. Gonna be disiplined on this And learn how to cure. Thanx for the fast response. I've learned so much by reading on this forum and when I have had to ask a question it's been solid response pretty quick.
