i get chronic migraines and have to medicate every few hours and im getting sick of sucking on my vapor brothers for 30-40 minutes at a time. I've been thinking about getting a volcano vaporizer but i was wondering if its really worth it or all just hype. also is there anything out there that works better? i want to be efficient and i want it to get the job done quick. if any one on here has one i would love to here what you think about it.

Extreme Q is much cheaper, yet in the same class as the volcano. I'd recommend it if your strapped for cash, otherwise go volcano. There are many worthy choices though.

If you enjoy vaping then the volcano is certainly worth it. I've used mine maybe 10 time in a year and a half as i just don't enjoy vaping if i have the option of smoking, but when i do use it, it does the job damned well.

the volcano design is supreme all the fittings come apart and there is a digital set and everything. heat is forced vertically which is better than the horizontal design. plus its so cool that you would hate yourself for not using it, and it will make you a healthier pot toker. cook up the used weed into cookies and get murdered.

dont get one if your worried about weed consumption though, i smoke mine all the time its great for my asthema and relieving allergies w/o an inhaler. The thc makes my bronchial tubes relax enough so i dont end up having a hard time breathing on the bad days and the volcano makes less bad side effects. I never take any tylenol or medicines unless i have to, and i like weed because it's natural from the earth with minimal processing. vaporizing it is the best IMO but smoking the weed will fully use it and you will go through less. Especially if you know how to smoke w/o burninating everything all at once.

yeah cost isnt a big issue because its something i have to use everyday so i want the best. the only thing i care about is that im done quickly and my pain goes away. does anyone know if they have an attachment that you could use for concentrates?

Just bought an extreme Q, Sold my volcano last year and couldnt justifying another 500$ purchase. For bag types the volcano is bar none. Only thing is since getting rid of the volcano I now enjoy the whip style (plugs into car lighter and sits nicely as well). When it gets here I'll let you know, think it was only 175-180 shipped.

The volcano comes with a thicker screen for use with concentrates. So you're all good to go there. With regard to getting it done quickly, if you just walk into the house, then it'll take 3 minutes or so to get to temperature, but you can happily leave it on all day if you want. You then just pop the chamber and bag on and 10 seconds or so later you have about 4 big lungfuls of vapor. even when i had a high tollerance i'd find 1 bag quite ample, i could do more if i wanted but it got me high as i needed to be to counter my depression which is what my weed has largely been for.

The first time I used a Volcano, it was a very memorable high, highest I'd been in years.
Went out, bought my own, and was happy for awhile.
But after awhile, I noticed I had a hard time inhaling the vapor, something was wrong.
As healthy as vaporizers are for you compared to smoking, they still have their own pitfalls.
Mainly, that metal is not a good material to use as a heating source since it can give off inert particles.
Said particles can be harmful and cause inflammation in your lungs, which is why I couldn't inhale and get high.
I find ceramic heat sources to be better in quality and have less pitfalls than their metal counterparts.
That's why if I buy another vaporizer at some point, it will most likely be an Extreme Q, because of the ceramic heater and the all glass airway.
I'm sure the Volcano works great for you colonuggs, and I'm glad it does :)
Just know that for some of us it's not an option, and if that's the case, the Extreme Q or Silver Surfer is most likely our best choice.

With all that said though, those new portable Pax vaporizers look really, really, interesting.

I just ordered Da Buddha in black over the weekend. Hope it gets here very soon. Also Neon Green hose and a green glass mouthpiece. New knob is next on the list.

I will add to the Extreme Q band wagon. I love mine. It gives you the choice between bag, and whip, comes with extra spare parts. It can also run on a timer. Use it with a battery pack for cordless vaping. Comes with a remote control, and has 3 fan speeds. I can go on. The best thing I like about it is, it is NOT made in china. It also come with a lifetime guarantee.

Crazy how nobody's mentioned the VapeXhale Cloud yet. I have one and was stuck on that thing 24/7 for a month before I'd decided to come back down to reality. Now it's just most of every day!

Seriously... VXC + DG Fritted tube + bubble hash will get you throwing down MASSIVE vapor clouds, over and over and over.

Volcano vaporizers dont give off metal particals....the heating element is ceramic......

Alot of the cheaper vaporizers... have the metal heating elements ur talking aboout

Why ur having problems inhaling with the vapor is because its hot air hitting the back of your throat....... higher temps = harsher vapor (above 365*F)

my main issue with the extreme is its glass on glass ....I've already broke that 2 times in 1 year and the weed area is too small with a small hole to allow air to blow through

SHITTTT check out http://www.vriptech.com/home.htm my very first vaporizing tool... turns your bong into a vaporizer...best vape hits ive ever gotten

volcano's weed chamber.... almsost a inch wide

Extremes weed chamber its less than 1/2 inch
