Hey guys so i have 6 plants in total in a 2×4×8 closet . 2 plants in a 1 gal container (G13 Purple haze, world of seeds AK ryder auto , and 4 other randoms from smokes still in solos (a month behind) and I been having issues with heat. Its been 85-95 degrees in the grow room for the past few days and i cant really afford an AC. I am about make a DIY AC with a cooler and frozen water blocks.... but in the mean time i have been keeping 2 fans on them and spraying them about every 30 mins to an hour with plain RO water just to keep them cool. And giving them plenty of coolish water to drink up. I plan on making a 48×48×80 DIY grow tent with the Panda paper i have and PVC pipes. Any suggestions or tips to keep them cool in the mean time!? Might take me about another week or 2 before i can make anything tho. Thanks

I have a 800w LED light. The PHaze sprouted 6/21. The AKR auto sprouted 6/24 the other 4 around 2 weeks later. I have A small fan, and stand up fan. For nutes i have fox farm, tiger bloom, big bloom, and grow big, and sledge hammer for flushes. Maxicrop seaweed extract and RO water PH'd to 6.8. Light cycle 18/6. I cant post pics but im willing to email to show my set up and crop. Thanks again.

You take the risk of getting mold if you're RH and airflow aren't right. Are they completely drying out between sprayings? I run those temps in my tents, it's not optimal but its not going to kill them. If they are healthy looking and not droopy from the heat, they'll be fine.

The RH doesnt go below 30 or past 70. The leaves and top soil dried out before each spray of plain RO water pHd at 6.8. I spray top and under leaves and wet the soil a tad to create evaporation with the lights and fans. Plus i keep a bowl of water near the small fan on top for more cooling effect e.i evaporation

There's no reason to PH plain RO water, PHing is for nutrient uptake, plants take up water regardless of PH. Only adjust nutrient mixes. Your just adding unneeded chemicals otherwise.

There isn't, or at least shouldn't be, anything in RO that will give an accurate PH reading with the metres commonly available in the hobby. It should be stripped of any dissolved solids. In 2 years of running a RO system, I've never got an accurate reading when I tried to measure my RO. The meter just keeps drifting. One drop of PH adjuster and then it almost goes of the chart. Add a little calmag or base nutes first if you want to PH it.
