Is LED the only realistic way to avoid POLICE detection?

Are Leds the only realistic (i know they are expensive) way to avoid police detection....LEDS prevent spikes in the electricity bill and do not give off heat for thermal imaging cameras above...how likely is it that if you have 4x600 watt lamps runnin at 18/6 that you will get red flagged or have a warrant at the door nxt month...any alternatives to pricey LEDs to save your ass???

Damn bro where are you living? I didnt even think about that shit.. I'm in the northeast. I dont think they would come with a warrent if I got a big electricity bill, I never heard that happening.. Oh Mikey, an LED is like a bunch of little lights that draw little electricity and put off little heat.

Oh and dont be doing that in a 1 bedroom house you need to be somewhere that would normally use a nice amount of power so that your not just using 2400 watts in a place that should only use maybe 1000 watts to run efficiently. KWH of course it what Im getting at

Best way to avoid police detection:

1. Tell nobody.
2. Make sure your room is properly insulated, vented, and air scrubbed.
3. PAY YOUR BILL.

but i have heard differently abt leds because of the red and blue light spectrum that the hps and mh lamps miss...and according to high times (if im not mistaken) the plants thrive off of these two light spectrums...

LED stands for Light Emiting Diode.

As far as I'm aware, LED grow lighting is better than what it was a couple years ago, but still nowhere near effective as HPS or MH.

I am partial to cfls. :bigjoint:

LED’s will outperform every other form of grow lighting IF you can afford high quality LED’s and IF you purchase enough of them and IF you know how to use them.

If you cannot or do not do all of those you will be disappointed and blame the LED’s for your inability and or failure.

NASA has had tremendous success using LED’s.

We're applying the same concept to T5HO lights. As soon as they fine-tune the pure red ones (too much in the orange range, needs to move the entire wavelength range up about 60nm) they will be one hellacious competitive grow light to LED. The blue ones are already pretty much covering the entire PAR spike in the blue range, it's just the reds that need adjustment, as I've stated. Add in a coral UVB T5HO lamp or two and you're really set for the good Buddha. :D

Imagine if they figure out how to do the same thing with HID bulbs. :D

First of all, I used FLIR in Afghanistan and FLIR cannot detect heat variances inside your home. If you don't pump heat out of your home, you can not get caught by FLIR. If you must pump heat out of your home, pump it either 1.Under your floorboards, 2. into your attic. 3. Pump it through your dryer vent. Next, as far as electric bills go, I have heard that it is mostly automated unless you don't pay your bill. So pay the bill. I know people who have been growing for years with up to 3000 watts of lighting and have not gotten caught. Good luck

i am running a 600 watt hps a 400 hps 2 100 hps 4 four foot floro t8s, and 6 cfls. oh a fan a heater,.it does pretty much nothing to my bill 1200 hps. the 400 cost me 4.76 for a month 12 hours a day, and the 600hps costs 7 dollars and change a month at 12 hours a day. that aint shite my friend...you need to run 4000 with light movers and all sort s of equiptment to have em look at ay....id say word gets around and smell gets most busted...also stealling electricityi used flir in iraq and i could see people creepin through woods across an area, but i could not see heat sigs through the homes...we stacked and cleared floor by floor, from the roof preferably if we could use the flir to see through tthe wall we wouldnt have stacked and cleared we would have pitched grenades directly in the windows.then cleared. flir is tricky though, BUT my house is 65 -70f and my house stays 65-70f so its not like even if they could see through the house to my basement, there would be no room that stood out from the rest..
i mean we run jacuzzis, water heaters , central a/c, fridges 24 hours a day, and i have about 40 lamps and lights in my house that are all 100 watts...3 more lights aint gonna make em say, hey whats up with this>
