This image is from nasa.gov Can you see the hot spot on buzz's boot? he's supposed to be in the shadow of the LEM module. The sun is in front so how does this hotspot exist? Nasa says no artificial light was used on the moon.

My mistake; the flag was nylon, but looking at it I think the nylon was treated with a stiffening agent to get that "crinkle".
