education is a big part for sure. never denied that
but so does the beginning social stages of life, its hard to convert someone from being intolerant if they were brought up completely intolerant, in their early years before school

Than there is the question of what is taught specifically in history classes, and social classes.
than there is social behav, from friends or school mates who may be intolerant or not intolerant.
than there is media, factual topics over emotional heart string topics that create intolerant opinions.
all this stems from being in a proper upbringing up a house

- "there is never 1 thing in life that makes the end result it is always a multiple system that works together as one to create a whole image. "
ive said that quote various times for various things on this board like proper diet, mental illness help, physical illness help and it holds true.
I get what you are saying, and I only disagree on there not being a silver bullet.

Education sees through the bullshit. It rises above those around you who are intolerant.
Education allows you to find those other keys to whatever problem you face, be it a proper diet, mental illness, etc.

EDUCATION FTW, EVERY TIME!

It's a Silver Bullet

our general education system needs a bit of rearranging, the college/uni aspect is pretty spot on with the intolerance issues,
but the general public school systems need some upgrading

education allows you to make a better attempt at justifying your racism too.

see kynes, or other "academic racists" like rushton or jared taylor.

not a silver bullet. demonstrable counterexamples.

By which government? All? This isn't a loaded question from me as I concur but think that's too easy a target for responsibility
The educational system, the programs for minorities, Etc. Government needs people who need it. If people are kept stupid, indoctrinated and divided against one another it is easier to be the supposed solution to the problem.

Goverment was responsible for segregation. It is government that says gay marriage is illegal. People dont understand how much government interferes with our freedoms and divides us as a country.

People point out that kids are not racist. How is it that their parents somehow dont teach the kids to be racist when they are little but by the time they grow up they seem to see all this racial divide? Indoctrination and propaganda.

Government needs to create a boogieman so it can step in and pretend to be the good guy while creating the problem in the first place.

Why are schools teaching and dealing with intolerance issues? Oh yeah, we are about propaganda, and indoctrination not education....

I agree, primary education sucks, especially where I am. When my 3rd grader came home with math homework consisting of how to read the hands of a clock, I about lost my shit. I started giving him my own homework.

Now he's two years ahead in honors math, and 1 year ahead in honors science. He recently told me if I hadn't done that for him in the 3rd grade, he likely would have lost all interest in math. It was a proud parental moment.

If it was up to me, I'd have several PhD's by now. I wish I could stay in school forever.

Well, the only rule without exceptions that I can think of at the moment involves Gravity and the like.

I'll pass on the readings and stand by my opinion though. It's a silver bullet. If there is a little tarnish on it, some vinegar will take care of it. Or is that for brass? I forget.

Some come from homes where hatred is taught. Need to unteach that type of hatred.
It all starts with the parents ! You can't fix stupid when stupid is teaching you ! I stay out of education and polictics for the sheer reason it will not change until it's to late.
