Hey crazy im sitting here taking my morning shit and noticed you posted on my thread no pics to update with right now, but they took off with the last feeding of nutes, im seeing alot of growth and am happy about it!!!!!!!!

My roots are starting to come out of the pot at the bottom and im in 3 gallon square pots, and the roots are nice and thick which is suprising for how small the plants still are, i cant believe how COMPACT and tight this strain is, im 7 nodes deep and only like 6 inches of growth if that.

I think they are out of the seedling stage and ready to start taking nutes on a schedule, i had to water them 2 more gallons last night because they seemed to suck all of the 2 gallons of nute's i gave them the night before. I have a few fans leaves that are 2 inches wide and the plants under 7 inches tall hahaha

Ill try and get some pics up tonight i know someone else was looking for some visual stimulation!!!!!
Gotta say this strain is the slowest vegger ive ever seen, granted i did stunt it but this thing veg's pretty epicly slow, hopping we can change that soon here and she just blows up on me(fingers crossed)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
lol i know what you mean, sometimes when you dont see growth above soil they're just putting energy towards the roots. those tight nodes really pay off come flower time too, you can expect some dense and tight buds. and shit, that sounds like an indica dom if those leaves are that fat. she'll take off as soon as she has more leaves to photosynthesize with and once she gets fully rooted, you'll see a spike in growth probably after they're a foot or so.

Yeah man i think they have been going crazy with the roots!!!!! ive checked about half of them and theres about 15-20 roots tips protruding from each pot, again these are only 6-7 inches tall max, and the soil is 12 inches deep!!!!!!!! the root mass is easily double the size of the plant currently, so i think your right that ill see a growth spike, probably within the next 2 weeks i think(hope) ill see some nice growth if i keep the nutes dialed in properly.......

And HOLY CHRIST the nodes on this thing are so SO SO SO tight i cant wait for this thing to bud its going to be WILD!

Update Day 31

So last night i watered the ladies, directly on the roots, even though these babies are getting pretty compact(i had cup the plant and lean it to one side.
Gave them all 2 gallons total, and they are looking great!!!

Heres some visual stimulation!!! As the post above says i feel like my root growth is INSANE right now, roots have grown through 12 inches of soil and out the pot!!!! and i only have 6 inch plants.... so i think its been putting most of its energy into root growth and soon the foliage will catch up and im going to see a spike in growth, But we will have to let time tell. Untill then PICS!!!

the new1.jpg Whole tent to track overall progression!
the new4.jpg Heres a frontal shot of one of the biggest
the new3.jpg Rear shot of same plant as above to show tight node development and secondary branching(bud branches)developing quite nicely in the last few days
the new2.jpg Top shot of the plant with 2 inch wide fan leaves, the 2 middle leaves are just short of 2 in.
the new5.jpg Random shot of another ladie

The soil is dry again at the top layer so im going to give them all 1 gallon of water total.....

As we speak i have my second attempt at my first tea feeding hahaha(the first time i feed these ladies(also my first tea ever) i burned the ladies pretty hardcore, coulda been cause they were young but who knows im still nervous about it but here we go.

Im going to do something like:
1gal water
2-3 tblspoon super tea(guano's & castings)
1 cup ancient forest humus (compost) (these 2 in a sock tied off^^^^)
1 tblspoon Earth Juice Humic acid
1 tblspoon Earth Juice Fulvic acid
1 tblspoon stump tea
1-2 tblspoon Earth Juice Hi-Brix molasses(stump tea has powdered molasses in it so maybe less then stated on the hi-brix....)
And POSSIBLY some neptunes harvest hydroslated fish(but i think im going to save this for the next tea and take it nice and simple with this one)

I have the water bubling right now and in a few hrs ill add everything but the stump tea
Then in the morning add the stump tea
Let it brew while i work(10-12hrs)
and dilute 1-1 with water(so ill have 2 gallons total) and water the ladies tomorrow night, or the following morning with the tea solution

Thoughts....Input.......Advice.....Comments?? Blurt it out ladies!!!!!!!

they look good man, have you tried making those holes in your soil? those girls are looking good but they could have perked up leaves with a little bit of aeration to the roots. theyre doing well other than that, have you tried superthrive before?

i agree these hoes could be alot perkier, and no i havent poked holes in the soil since a few watering ago ill give em a poking soon hahaha

and yeah ive heard of it man, its not listed as an organic nutrient and im trying to do 100% organic, its essentially, b vitamins-petids-amino acids- and hormones(same thing as my organic b) and what the organic b lacks ive been using the thrive live( 5 kinds of kelp (kelp is loaded with vitamins and minerals as well as peptids-amino acids and proteins!!!!!!)) so im getting at LEAST 80-90% of the same things superthirve has to offer and i know 100% there organic, i debated quite a bit on superthrive and organics especially since ill be doing compost teas to help increase my microbial heard in the soil, and i was worried superthrive would have a negative effect on my microbial and fungal herds.... i could be completly wrong and superthrive may have been the better choice over the kelp extracts and vitamin/hormone supplement.... but who knows....

whats your current nute setup crazy??????

kelp extracts are great, keep feeding them that until flower when you dont want all that nitrogen.
superthrive is really good, probably the only additive i use for the whole grow. wont kill any beneficials im pretty sure, at least not in soil. i use superthrive in foliar feeds mixed with diced garlic and marigold flowers(this way i can spray my organicide and feed them at the same time) and i sometimes add a drop to my tea right before i water. i know what you mean by 100% organic though, its always good to grow like that but a tad bit of synthetics wont effect end product if used in moderation and salt build ups dont arise.
i use my own compost as most of my nutrients, its just black kow and some miracle gro organic choice, some FF ocean forest and some high P K guano are in there too, worms break it all down into a rich medium(not to mention all the old fruit and high fructose drinks i add to it, worms do very well with breaking them down). i also add roots of the weeds in my yard, they contain lots of microbes. you can add them to compost or straight to your teas with a bit of blackstrap molasses as microbe food. i also have some bontaicare samples, i use those sometimes. i got the granular veg nutes, hydroplex for late flower(its all P and K, perfect for late flower when you want them to use their fan leaves as energy once they eat up all the N) and fulvex for any minerals i think im missing. also, i got zho root innoculant which is good for healthy root systems as well as microbial colonies. i also have some bat guano sitting around my house somewhere i think ill use that in a few months.

word man thats a respectable set up so you only feed using compost teas eh? i was going to try that but with this being guerilla and all i dont think its feasble at this point...
im going to switch to nutes, nutes, tea. repeat, im guessing itll be a a week rotation, so itll be a once a week tea thats HEAVY in benficial microbes and bacterium.
i have heard a few locl growers say they like to use some synthetics but i think im going to try and stick the oh natural path this run, i get what your saying about it not hurting my benificaials if i were to use it as a foliar, thats a great point hadnt thought of that really.....

BTW nice organicide where did you pick that lil recipe up?

you dont need to feed the tea all the time, id say once every 2 or 3 waters if you water them well. if you grow guerilla, then give them the tea once every 2 weeks, they should get plenty of microbes being outdoors. and a tiny bit of synthetics wont hurt but 100% organic isnt a bad thing, the only advantage of synthetics is their availability, while some organic nutes may need to be broken down more. thats why i compost with earth worms, they break it down just enough. and try it, thrive is the shit when your plant needs all those vitamins and all the other good stuff in thrive.
and its a family recipe, i did some tinkering with it after going through the organics thread and doing some experimenting myself. companion growing with marigolds and garlic would do you some good, they help with all sorts of mites.

UPDATE DAY 36

I didnt end up teaing the ladies, i thought they needed more actual nutes so not last night but the night before i gave them a nute solution

On day 34 i gave them 5ml of EJ grow, 5ml EJ catalyst, and 5ml of EJ bloom per gallon and i watered them with 2 gallons of this solution!
Heres pics from last night when i checked on the ladies before bed, they have had some growth since then and it seems like they want even more NITROGEN, im seeing yellowing on the top leaf sets... hmmmmmmm

I have a gallon of water bubling right now for a tea but im not sure if id rather tea them tomorrow or give them another shot of nutes....im undecided at the moment

newby 1.jpg Overall tent as usuall
newby 2.jpg Top view of a random ladie
newby 4.jpg This is a close up of the bigger plant all the way to the right of the tent(far right dead center) shes beasting out hard on her secondary branching!!!!
newby 3.jpg And this is the same plant as the above pic, bigger far right plant, i should note the plant is 7 nodes high and about 8 inches high total. Its about 11-12 inches wide overall, and this fan leaf is the same size as my hand allready(and i dont have small hands at all i wear x-large gloves) im kinda shocked at how bushy at low this is staying, its unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As usuall any questions, comments or tips......COME AT ME WITH EM BRO!

they look good, if you see yellowing your best bet is usually nitrogen. btw, whatd you put in your tea? could add the roots from some weeds in your yard for extra microbes, i brew it for a maximum of 3 days usually.

anyways i watered them
10ml of EJ grow
5ml of EJ bloom
5ml of EJ catalyst
2.5ml of pro-tekt
10ml of organic-b

i checked em real quick this morn before work and they look pretty good overall, nothing to note really but def bulking up!!!!!!!

Yeah that & (Mary 3x) are my favorite, but how long do think i have left judging the vid
hell yeah, all the songs with juicy in it are pretty good, it seems like he focuses more on rappin about money now though, not that any rappers these days dont focus on that though. and i could say roughly like, idk, probably 6 weeks, possibly 7, depends on pheno sometimes.
