Hey there Riu

Well this will be my 3rd grow, first time around was with fox farms liquid lineup no guidance, no forum just grew some bud. it came out god but i wanted better. So second year around i joined up here on RIU Learned leaps and bounds on what to do to increase yield and potency. I used the complete fox farm line including the solubles and it was going amazing, untill the 3rd week of flowering when someone jacked em. So here i am on year 3 outdoor, i did as much research as i could through the winter and even got a mentor, an older gentleman i worked with had been growing weed for about 20 years and retired to grow full time and he taught me everything he knows in exchange for some help here and there. He grow only in coco, with organics, and only indoors. Needless to say i learned alot!!!!!! My goal for this grow is to get the sweetest, juiciest most potent buds possible and have enough to recoup grow cost and have a supply for the year.

So for year three i decided to go all out. For seed i ordered Dr.Greenthumbs IAF. There are not a true auto. You veg under 24hrs of light untill they reach about 18" then you put them outside and the drop in light sends them into flowering within 2 weeks. Then within 60 days give or take of that they are ready to be harvested and yield roughly 4-8 oz's dried.

For soil they will root in solo cups using pro-mix organic. After about 2 weeks i will transplant into 3 gallon square pots for the remainder of the vegging. While in these pots i will be using Roots organic 707 with maybe 15% pro-mix organic maybe some perlite and vermeculite....? Then when they go outside they will be transplanted again into 10 gallon underbed totes, 2 plants per tote, with a plastic divider in the middle vertically but buried to seperate roots. The totes measure 24x16x10. Again With the Roots 707/Pro-mix for soil.
All soils also have The guano company Super Tea powder mixed into them at 1.5 cups per CU.FT.

They will veg in a 4x4 tent with a 600w MH air cooled light.

Nutes
Bubbled for 24hrs
Earth juice Grow original
Earth juice Bloom original
Earth juice Microblast (micro nutes)
Earth juice Catalyst (the crucial link, flower enhancer haha)
Earth juice Meta-K (potassium supplement)
Earth juice Assist (wetting agent)
Humboldt Honey es (organic sweetener)

Choose Earth juice because its not only one of the cheaper organic nute lines, but its also, from what ive researched, some of the best organic nutes you can get, its based from molasses and supposidly takes brix levels(sweetness and taste) off the chart! 1

Tea's
Bubbled for 24hrs
The guano company Super Tea (whole grow) worm casing, bat and seabird guano
The guano company Budswell (flowering) Worm castings, bat and seabird guano
HTG'S Stump tea (whole grow) kelp, yucca extract and mychroziae
Earth juice Hi-Brix molasses (whole grow)

Misc (with waterings....?)

Thrive alive green (OMRI listed B vitamin supplement, elminates plant stress) derived from kelp
Gonats (all natural insecticide, made by the company that makes earth juice)
Earth juice Natural Up & Down (all natural ph adjusters's)

The plan is to Nute solution day 1, check day 2, Tea solution day 3, check day 4, Straight Water with thrive alive weekly and gonats bi weekly on day 5, check day 6 and repeat. Providing this is a nice hot sunny summer hahahaha

Hopefully all goes well and i will get to harvest within a week or 2 of fourth of july and all will be dried and cured by begining of august when i get ready to go to school. Hope this grow journal provides people with info on Both earth juice because it seems to be a not well known line that is rediculously good and just happens to be organic, which is even better, and wait its cheap to....!!!!!!!!! WINNING! Also i wanna see whats up with these IAF from what ive seen it look amazing and the bud is POTENT they say on his website ak and white widow is a 4 out of 5
And he ranks IAF a 4.5 out of 5!!!!!!!!! and its done in july WHAT!

So this is my all natural/organic grow for the 2012 outdoor season. Ill be doing atleast a once a week post most likely with pics once things get going, and most likely twice a week haha.

Any questions and comment are as usuall always welcome, Remember we are here to learn from eachother so play nice!!!!!

As we speak they are germinating on a heating pad kept at approx 95 degress. I soaked paper towels in a 1/8 strength nute solution, then put the seed on the towels with another layer of towel on them then put them into a zip-loc bag. i dont usually do the nute solution just water but Dr. greenthumb said this is how his seeds germinate best, so here goes......
The tent is all set and ready i just need to hook up some 6 inch ducting and attach my fan to my enclosed light hood.

OFFICIALY DAY 1!!!!!

HEYYYYY TheNaturalist welcome aboard bro!!!

I appreciate the love man and yeah its a little hybrid package i put together of nutes there, it has everything i could possibly think a plant needs after doing TONS of reasearch for liquid organic feedings, wont lie it was real cheap to, i got a gallon of all the nutes, a 2 lb bag of each tea (they are all powder based), 2.5 gallons of the Hi-Brix molasses and a bottle of each of the thrive alive gnats and ph up & down for about 200-250 and itll be enough for probably 2 maybe 3 grows.

And no man no pics yet dont really have anything to show yet, ill start pics in probably a week or so when i have plants to show, i kinda loathe people that post pics of there set up and there nutes just chillen. Show me the goods!!!!!

Thanks man, that really isnt bad at all for that many nutes. I might have to try out Earth Juice! Right now im using BioBiz and Neptunes Harvest but im on a quest to start making my own fertilizer with worm castings and worm casting tea :bigjoint:

Anyways, i might have missed it but how many of those IAF's are you gonna be vegging in that 4x4 tent? Id imagine you could fit a tun! and are you using reg or fem seeds? Dont want to bombard you with questions just curious

Ask away my friend it is how we all learn, my mentor/teacher hates me because i ask why he does every little thing but its how you learn the most.

Anyways i have 22 going into the tent man, and i really couldnt fit any more, they arent an actual autoflower they are a photoperioed plant that is extremly sensitive, so its a regular sized plant man. And the DR. only sells this strain in fem seeds because its such a breakthroguh in genetics he wants you to keep buying seeds!!!!

Question for you ho do you like the neptunes harvest? was talking to the guy at my grow shop and they just got it in he had no info or expiernece with it and ive never heard of it kinda weird you use it caus ei was just talking to him today about how ive never heard of anyone using it? Teas or bubbling nutes is the way to go man, shit goes cray!!!

22 damn that is going to be a nice harvest! They will have lots of room to grow nice and big outside too, cant wait to see that haha.

I got a free sample of the Neptune's Harvest after contacting the company with a question, they sent me a 4 ounce bottle of a Fish Hydralosate and Seaweed mix with a recommendation to add one ounce per gallon every two or three weeks. So I have been using one ounce of it every three weeks to spread it out over my grow and BioBiz for all of the other feedings. Its hard to tell exactly what the Neptune's Harvest is doing for my plants since I dont use it very regularly... but I feel like I notice a spur of growth when I use it. Enough that I think I will buy some for my next grow. I read the lit they sent with the sample and it was very convincing! I guess fish hydrolosate like they produce is way better then fish emulsion like most companies sell because fish emulsion is processed with a lot of heat which destroys a lot of nutrients compared to Neptune's Harvest which is processed cold. I dont know how their prices are since I havnt actually purchased any yet but from talking with the company I have learned that their customer service is absolutely superb. Id bet if you contact them they would mail you a sample with some literature for free.

.
thats the plan man im looking to get 4 oz's per plant, which is what the doc says is the minimum yield when done properly. and planning i get half,
thieving is pretty high around here these days, weed aint cheap haha. so 11 plants at 4oz's each 44oz is the goal! my next years supply haha

any updates?
not really man, just germing out the seeds right now.
theres about an 1/8th of an inch of root growth on maybe a 3rd of them so far, and about 1/3rd you can see the root and the remaining 3rd still just look like seeds.
im guessing tomorrow night maybe the next night ill put em in soil and start the 24 hr regiment!

Planning on only getting half? Shit that blows! Man losing 44 oz of weed is crazy. But if someone jacked your harvest last year they prolly know to come back to the same spot this year... you need a dog or something. Its gettin me all worked up just thinking about someone jacking 44 oz of my bud I gotta smoke or something to calm down... :-(

I mean theres some fucked up shit you can do to thief's like spraying a few marked plants with some heavy pesticides that would mess them up bad when they smoke it, then they would know not to come back next year! but they might end up just selling that bud to someone else so it wouldn't be cool to poison a innocent smoker for what the thief did... Thats prolly too extreme. What I would do is set up some bear traps around your crop. Make sure you know where they are but the bastard jacking your shit wont know, In the morning there will be blood on your grass and that fool will have a broken leg and a fat emergency room bill. Id say he deserves that...

hahaha yeah man it sucks but its best to think like that shits only an investment and cant count your chickens before they hactch ya know

Its because the shits illegal bro, people dont learn how to grow it and when money gets tight habbits go first. and its easy to steal weed just need a nose some time to roam the woods and a knife hahahhahaha

And dont worry ive chossen a new location from last year, and this year instead of doing a grow in one location like i usually did, one location but 3 patches all within say half a square mile.
This year ill be doing 2 locations with 2 patches at each so even if one area is found i should still have a chance at the other.

And im not messing around this year my favortie trap is take fish line and hang it from tree to tree about 6-7 feet high horizontally, then tie more fish line every 12 inches hanging down about waist length then at the bottom tie fish hooks to the line, and if anyone sees your weed and walks twords it they get 5-10 fish hooks all over the front of there body in various places, and fish hooks dont come out easy, you will def be bumming if you stumble across my weed this year and try to go near it!!!

Oooooh I just noticed that this is a guerilla grow haha I was thinkin people were goin into your yard or something. Yeah thats a good idea to use two different locations because once someone finds one patch id bet they are gonna find another one thats too close by, it will just be a pain taking care of them in two different spots. HAHA thats a pretty good trap, theres no way someone would see that at night

Yeah unfourtunaetly a guerilla grow, maine is getting way better on the medical angle but for me with mental health conditions its still a ways down the road till i can get a card and start growing in the front yard!! Its physical conditions only in maine right now.

And yeah the 2 locations thing in theory should work, and what i plan on doing is visiting plots A and B day one then plots C and D day 2 and just keep switching back and forth like that! shouldnt be to bad, sam as any other guerilla.
And yeah man that is hands down the best TRAP, fish line is so thin and i get the clear stuff so you cant even see it during the day, might get a glimer or light off the line but it would just look like cobwebs out of the corner of your eye, and the person is bummin if the walk through it! on top of that my locations are deep deep woods where no one should be walking around anyways, and one of the locations is in the middle of a swamp theres like a little island in this swamp that the water table doesnt really touch

Update!!
Put the germ'd seeds into solo cups last night around 8ish, they are in pro-mix organic.

I let them germ out untill the shortest root was about 1/8th of an inch then potted them to the instructions that came with them, Dr. greenthumb said to plant them with the seed down and the root up, instructions say pointy side up, then cover with 1/2in of media, ive never planted seeds like that always plant the other way around pointy side down, anyone ever plant em like this kinda worried?

Anyways theyve been under 24hrs of light, below my 600mh, none of the ladies have popped yet so stil keeping fingers crossed

Whats up futurama, LoL @ what u said about the fishing line, ifeel you tho, i really dont have 2 worry about rippers here in Bama jus the fuckn crackheads, but my uncle is crazy as hell so ireally doubt if they'll a investigating any smell around his crib, to sum it all up he hunts deer and turkey with a AR-15, catch my drift, & plus he'll still be pissed @ George Zimmermans punk @ss when they're done around August. But has yours sprouted above soil yet? If so, how lonfg did it take? Mine havent sprouted yet, & i put 11 IAF & 1 OG Kush seed in soil on the 11th, (Yes, they were germed) hopefully they'll be up 2morrow.

Whats up with the ladies?????
UP-Motha-Lickin-Date!
Checked the ladies just now its morning of day 5, 16 have popped so far! BALLIN
So far i have watered them with water every 12ish hours enough to keep the soil moist.
Allthough the first watering (right after i placed the seeds in soil and covered them) was with half strength thrive alive and half strength super tea mix (various low strength guanos)

Im going to get the app for my phone and ill probably start posting daily pictures with my phone, allthough im slightly sketch about this.
I will also try and get my digital camera working for a once a week shot with a good camera

But has yours sprouted above soil yet? If so, how lonfg did it take? Mine havent sprouted yet, & i put 11 IAF & 1 OG Kush seed in soil on the 11th, (Yes, they were germed) hopefully they'll be up 2morrow.
checked the ladies its morning of day 5, and i have 16 out of 22 popped so far, 1 looks like its stuggling and may not pop, and the remaining 5 so no signs of plant life above the soil, i woudl guess youll start to see them pop today, tomorrow and finish up the following day

And yeah man i hate rippers shit pisses me off so much like really? im also an avid skier and anyone in that industry feels me on thiefs,
WEED PLANTS and SKIS are something i would never steal but its so EASY to do, just pick either one up and walk away no one notices.
BAD BAD JUJU though! TERRIBLE KARMA

So i got bored with my saturday and decided visuals are always nice! So heres so pics!
Lineup 1.jpg Heres my nutes. Im waiting on Earth Juice Rich Humic (humic acid), Earth Juice soy-FULL (fulvic acid) & Earth Juice Big Bloomin Guano
lineup 2.jpgThe Misfits! Random nutes and additives.
teas.jpgMy powdered tea mixs
tent.jpgAHHHHHHH The gorgeous tent
cups.jpgAnd WHATS THIS sprouts!!!!!!!!
soil.jpgCant forget the soils, so i lied in my soil composition and said i was using pro-mix organic, but after talking with my local garden shop guy i went with the Pro-Mix BX with mycorrhizae and horticultural grade perlite and vermeculite. Ill be adding the super tea mix to this at 1/2 cup pper cubic foot. then mixing it to 3parts roots organic 707, and 1 part pro-mix bx with amendments(guanos and dolomitic lime)
Still have to buy the 707 but i dont need it for another week maybe at the earliest anyways.

Random: Ive also decided i will be bubling all my nutes and teas into one mix and feeding only teas this grow. Probably tea, tea water, repeat. After much research and instruction from some EXPIRIENCED organic growers! The tea solution will have all the Earth Juice Lineup, Plus the powdered mixes and all the additive goodies as it needs them. And i will be using the ancient forest as a base compost in all my teas as well!

Any input, advice or comments as usual is much appreciated thanks guys!!!!!!!!!

Lookin good future, well i went & checked my ladies today or should i say yesterday, and i'll be damned something has dug 2 or 3 of my seeds out of the soil in my solo cups, & one more thing did it take your ladids 5 days after placing them in cups to show sprouts above soil?
