My point is and always has been that corporations are not individuals. They take profit and re-invest it into the economy in the form of loans and purchasing other assets.

We are already slaves to our government due to property taxes, you dont need to invent other ways that they own you...

Keep it where? Under their pillows? You do understand how wealth works right? If you just put it under your mattress it decreases in value due to inflation. There are not many rich people that stay rich that way.

These rich people INVEST the money. If they buy stocks with it then other businesses get capital to buy machinery and hire people and grow. If they build businesses then they spend it on buildings and jobs and equipment to make more money. And if they dont invest it then they go out to plays and expensive dinners and buy yachts that other people make money by building and supplying.

Why do you hate rich people so much? They do a hell of alot more for us than poor people do...

So, the banks are about to go under and the government takes your tax money and bails them out and you are mad at the bank and not the government? The bank didnt take your tax money. The bank didnt impliment foolish lending practices, the government did that.

But yeah.. lets not be mad at the real culprit, it is easier to believe them when they say the other guy did it...

You know where money gets invested? Where it gets the biggest return for the safest risk... Money is colorblind and so are the people trying to make it.

I dont agree with most of the federal government, their overspending, the debt, etc...

But I also strongly believe that America is one of the best places in the world to make a fortune if that is what you want to do. And the only entity I see standing in the way more and more is the government, not the rich, not the boogeyman. The issue is that to make a fortune takes alot of hard work and a risk and no guarantee of success. But tell me somewhere else in the world where you have a better shot.

There is no magic bullet, but it's a friggin' disaster to allow them to have nukes. Not with the current regime in power (no, not just Ahmedinejad, but the Ayatollahs). That's just the nature of politics - it's a tough situation, but there are certain outcomes that would be worse than others...
