do you have new news about citizen horticulture cob? I did read a article, which claims thats citizen showed this year at electronica 2016
a horticulture cob.
If you have any informations about this, could you please share? or ask citizen for infos about this Cob?

Its on german and they mention this horticultre cob only with one sentence at the bgeinning of the article

They're talking about grow lights using Citizen COBs, not Citizen making a horti centic COB.

as far as i know citi abandoned the horti cobs and are trying to distance themselves from that market. you'll see the "A-PPF" charts in jorge's cheap and cheerful thread (where is @JorgeGonzales anyway?) from when they were discussing it

Interesting new chip, if I was looking for that wattage and efficiency I think that would be the one to get.

Now I am still learning all this stuff and correct me if I'm wrong but it seems the Citis still win in efficiency in the low watt 50< range?

im not sure if you are right, maybe yes. But i dont think so.
Because Endrich Bauelemente GmbH dont sell any kind of Ready to use lights, they sell just the components, same for citizen.
Endrich Bauelemente GmbH is the offical german distributer of citizen in germany. I will try to call them tomorrow and ask for informations.
Maybe they will share some infos

No, they dont talk about grow llights which use citizen cobs. They talk about horticulture LEDS on the Basis of citizen cobs



a Turkish page posted at beginning this year too about horticulture cob.
The same guy post too about the amber and blue cob from citizen.

i like that mini reflector but wanna be safe as u state it's not for all drivers

i think i have 6 but im out of town till tuesday, ask me then

ill have those amber and blue soon in 1212s. blue is pretty much straight 450 nm, and the amber is around 2000k
