Inline fan question

hello all,

I've been learning from all of you for months now and want to start off by saying thank you. This is my first thread but need some help with a heat issue. I have a 4'x8' Gorila Tent running 1 600w HPS and 1 1000w HPS. To vent the tent I have 1 6" ventech inline fan with filter purchased as a combo. This tent is only used for flowering but my temp is getting way too hot above 95 every night, I've resorted to keeping the 1000w light off. The girls are all in great shape still but I want to fix this issue quick and not have to worry. If I upgrade to a 8" fan will it greatly help my heat issues? Can I run a 750 cfm filter with a 770 cfm fan?

Thanks in advance for all your time!!

hey man a 8'' fan would help a lot, what i also noticed that helped was opening up the entire tent as long as there isn't any light leakage, that should drop the temperature even more, if you dont decide to do that you may have to go with an actual A/C unit outside of the tent would be the best bet.

Hanks guys for the help! I upped the fan to a 8" with new filter. Got a good deal of only 176$! It worked great and dropped my RH down 10% and my Temp 15°!! Appreciate the help!

I run 2 600w HPS and a 700w LED in a 5x5 and never had a heat problem. I put this down to investing in air cooled hoods. Worth the money in my experience.

take that 6in fan a run intake air into your garden, you got a lot of light in there, spells heat even with closed hoods,i have friends that dont run any ac all year, just intake and exhaust, grow space air should be exchanged every minute, from intake to exhaust out,you didnt mention if you had open or closed hoods,i run my exhuast out over my closed hoods and out of room, but still get heat, exchanging the air keeps it from getting hot,so 6in intake in and 8in exhaust out should get you lined up
