Hey guys not a newbie but first time on here in awhile. I'm having difficulty determining the best set up for my environment.
I'll start off with a list of my equipment.
I have two grow tents each set up with the same equipment.
2 Grow tents- 4x8x7 (width,length,height)
With
1- can fan 125 carbon filter (1110 cfm)
1- 10" can fan high output (781cfm) running both tents. Filter is in a separate room then tents so hot air isn't recycled back into tents.
(The below equipment is what's in each tent)
2 - 1000 watt dimmable sun system galaxy amp ballasts
2- tac 8" air cooled cool tube with aluminum reflectors
1- 8" can fan for air cooled lights (493 cfm) with the exhaust for ac lights exhausting into separate room then tents are in.
1- dedicated air conditioner used for each tents air intake as well as the air cooled lighting.
My first question is should I be running the air conditioners in the room the tents are in? I currently have them running in the same room with both air intakes for each tent attached to front of each tents air conditioner. This has not been a problem in the spring and summer or even fall, but with winter coming I will need to run a space heater to keep the room containin the tents around 72 degrees. So I guess my 2nd question would be what's the best set up so I can keep the air conditioners needed to cool the lights and grow tents themselves running while being able to use heaters to keep room warm during lights off? Should I put ac in separate room for the fans to pull from and keep space heater in the room containing the tents to provide warm air? (Using the house heating system is not a possibility as it is an old radiator heating system.) Or should I move the filter into the room and run the tents opposite on/off schedules and use the warm exhaust from filter to heat the room to keep the "off" tent warm during lights off?
3rd question is anyone running a similar set up with a different heating/cooling system thend I have listed.
