Indoor LED Grow 2011

this is so awesome. I am getting ready to start a small room soon and am very serious about LED. That statement leads to a question... does anyone know anything about Illuminator UFO 5-Band Tri-Spectrum LED Grow Light?

i have no personal experience with them .. you might find better luck finding an honest answer in the LED USERs UNITE thread here on RIU .. this thread has a smaller audience as its essentially my grow journal for those interested just to follow....
BTW im still working on updated pics.. plants are coming to... the infestations was short lived im hoping as the majority of the critters i saw are now dead lil floaties in the controller lol just seems everytime i go to grab the camera something happens where i gotta take off or go do something else i promise to have them up sooon lol

Its a bit experimental of me as there's loads of lights out there with more power and successful documented grow journals behind them, but I did a fair amount of research and decided on this one.

lovin your set up, just started growing for the first time this christmas,I was going to use the same led set up you are using but I was given a chameleon light.
I dont know anyone on this sight with this light... but would like any feed back if people know about it.

they are looking great ... everything is moving on smoothly after a few bumps in the road with those damn aphids .. ive just been busy busy .. trying to accomplish so many things right now but i promise soon lol

I have never heard of chameleon lighting .. do you know what model you have? i wonder what kind of light it use...
the best way on getting feedback i think would be starting a thread in with the light forum ... your sure to get some kind of better response then in here

I glad to hear this from someone, it is very true that every grower has their own preferences. I'am becoming very weary of HID vs. LED argument, like its some cage match and the winner is the one we all have to accept as the ultimate "grow light". I have herd however that LED's do not produce the barry bonds nugs that HPS do, but are excellent for vegging. I hope to one day replace my T5 system with an LED but thats only a dream untill i stack some more loot

im planning on starting flowering soon ... just want to make sure that there is no longer any little buggers hanging around dont want to start flowering with the chance of those lil shits coming back you know what i mean.. but hopefully they will be clear by monday .. thats when ill flush and clean out the system again to make sure the tubing and everything is clean and clear .. once im satisfied that chances of re-infestation is minimal im going to cut a few clones for my outdoor and then 12/12 for these ladies .. thats whats crackin right now

whatchu guys/girls out there think ? tryna get some input good or bad anything works

Been looking and studying on these LED things. As usual, every answer brings new questions. LOL
Anyways, pulled the trigger on a Lighthouse / Blackstar 180 UFO w/ 6 bands. I see some dislike of the unit / company, But took it with a grain of salt. (didn't want to invest too much for a small space test)
Looking for it to work on late vegging and full flower to replace my 250 HPS/MH lighting.

it would probably be best to give the ladies few days after taking the clones to switch to 12/12
